Elizabeth Warren could face a nightmare on her book tour
American Thinker ^ | 04/19/2014 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 04/19/2014 10:34:06 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

I can feel the schadenfreude welling inside me as I read that a group of Cherokee women are preparing to confront Elizabeth Warren as she sets forth on a national book tour to publicize her new book.  Sen. Warren matters a lot more than most freshman senators because she must be considered a near-frontrunner for the Democratic 2016 nomination if Hillary Clinton decides that playing with her forthcoming grandchild is better way to occupy her time than going through the meat grinder as a candidate.

In Elizabeth Warren’s new book, A Fighting Chance, Warren claims to be “hurt and angry” that people criticized her claim to be Native American, specifically Cherokee.  Warren blamed the Scott Brown campaign, the local Republican Party, and “some blogger.”

In fact, Warren has no one to blame but herself for her false claim to be Cherokee.  ReadElizabeth Warren Wiki, and these posts responding to the claims in her book:

Warren will be launching a nationwide book tour.  Someone who wants to meet Warren is Twila Barnes.

She claimed (fraudulently, I might add) to be an Indian when she wasn’t, and she blames those that called her out on it? The woman makes me sick.

Lie-A-Watha didn’t create that book on her own.

Somebody else invented the words she used.
Somebody else invented the paper and ink to print the book.
Somebody else invented the printing press used to print the book.
Somebody else discovered electricity and learned how to use it to power the printing press.

Taxpayers paid for the rosds the delivery trucks use to deliver her books.
Taxpayers paid her salary while she spent her time writting the book.

Somebody else built the schools where her potential customers learned to read.

As a good commie, Lie-A-Watha should redistribute her profits to all of those people.

For the life of me I cannot figure out why she is being talked up as a candidate for POTUS!

Elizabeth Warren is a classic example of how the Democrats use both women and the media. When she claims to be Native American, the media swoons over "a member of a disadvantaged minority achieving greatness" and the women over at your nearby Natural Nutrition store ooh and ahh. Then, when it leaks out that wellllllll, she might not EXACTLY be Native American, the media declares that there's a hatchet job (pun intended) being played on her, and the women over at your nearby Natural Nutrition store get up in arms because evil Republicans are trying to SILENCE this member of a disadvantaged minority! It's a quick jump from there to three of the women over at your nearby Natural Nutrition store starting a drive to get Warren to run for President because "She fights the Entrenched Male Power Structure!" ... After which, a member of the local media interviews the Warren for President people, the AP or some other wire picks up the story, it goes national, and suddenly we have "Elizabeth Warren for President" ... And she didn't have to do a single thing, except lie.

It’s just incredible that a hardcore commie like Fauxcahontas could be elected a dog catcher anywhere, let alone a U.S. Senator. Talking about your Low Information Voters ....

Looks like Warren is going to be in heap big trouble over this.

I’d expect her to try spreading some wampum around to get rid of the problem.

Even if her strongest evidence was correct, it makes her at most 1/32 Native American. So 31/32 white, 1/32 Native American. So even if that were true, it’s still false to call yourself a Native American or “minority” and make that your perceived identity - it is embarrassingly false even if her strongest evidence was accepted as true. A great many of us commenting here could probably claim just as much or more Native American blood than she is able to if we were able and willing to search our genealogy closely and yet she claims she is a “minority” and that this “heritage” identifies her.

The scary thing is....we would laugh at the ridiculousness of it if she were the candidate, just like we all laughed at the idea of Senator Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin.

1) Possesses a vagina which is a plus in today's era of identity politics

2) Engages/develops policies that are destructive and unrealistic to sustain a proper functioning civilization, but make people “feel good or better” for them

3) Believes in the right to selfishly murder ones developing offspring.

4) Is a Marxists economically as well as culturally (Political Correctness) and is obsessed with destroying Western Civilization ideals

5) Ivy League product, which many carelessly believe they are society's oracles deserving praise. Intelligence however does automatically go together with wisdom.

6) Has high cheekbones.

7) Is a member of the Democrat Party, thus gets glorification from the mainstream sycophantic press.

Does she have to volunteer. Wouldn’t a strand of hair shed from her Indian styled coif do? Someone just needs to snag one in that case.

Tribal membership is even stricter than copyright or patent, and for the same reasons, because scoundrels want to profit, usually financially, from pretending membership and ownership.

So what Warren has done is much like pirating a copy of Windows, changing its logo on the opening screen, removing all its copy protection, saying that it is your software, and selling it for a fraction of the price.

Microsoft, or in this case, the Cherokee tribe, may have a little problem with this.

Howie Carr has offered to pay for a DNA test to settle this once and for all.

My brain read that without even realizing the “not” wasn't there. :-)

I just think it's bizarre that gender or skin color is considered more important than competence. You'd think we would all be over that with disastrous Obama. My hope is that H is so awful looking and so essentially unlikable that she won't get the turnout.

Howie Carr is offering her $200 to pay for her DNA test. I think that would make a nice poster.

Warren has a lot of grass-roots support among the far-lefties. So it's not all MSM hype.

Here's my guess as to why. Those folks are really, really pining for a liberal woman president. But they see Hillary as having too many big business ties. So it's Warren instead.
