Anti-NRA Protester: You Shouldn’t Be Able to Protect Yourself With a Gun If Your Life Is in Danger

When MRCTV’s Dan Joseph talked with protesters outside the National Rifle Association’s headquarters in Fairfax, Va., earlier this week, he was able to really encapsulate the anti-gun crowd’s argument against the Second Amendment.

When asked if a person who believes their life is in danger should be able to defend themselves with a firearm, one protester simply said, “No.”

“Only a law enforcement officer should be allowed to use weapons,” she said. The same woman also told Joseph that he shouldn’t be able to carry a gun in a bad neighborhood, because he shouldn’t be walking around in a bad neighborhood in the first place.

Another protester claimed that 30,000 people die every year to gun violence, and it’s all the NRA’s fault.

“People who go out and buy a bunch of guns” are just paranoid and misinformed, a female protester argued.

“Only a law enforcement officer should be allowed to use weapons,”

Why should the police have guns?

C’mon. Public school employees are too mentally unstable to be allowed to even look at a firearm, much less have one where they might touch it. Isn’t that what the Democrats have been telling us? Apparently they have to be that way to get hired.

Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

I believe so. Private citizens have need for firearms for the exact same reasons the police do (plus a few). Likewise for large-capacity magazines, an assortment of pistols and rifles, and specialized rounds.

Did anyone tell her that she is openly advocating a police state?

My usual response to such arrogance.

In CT it has been documented time and time again that it is the 11th bullet and more that do all the bad killing which is why magazines are limited to 10 rounds. The legislators presented these documents to the public while the open and public debate over the new CT law ensued.

All the above is a steaming pile. So much for the democratic process. But the new law is the most blatant racist effort I’ve ever seen. The poor are usually the “wrong color” and without a way to get to Middletown, CT to get any permits, nor $116 in 4 separate checks (if they have a bank account) to apply. But it is not infringing it is making sure the wrong colored folks cannot get guns OR AMMO legally.

Nothing that you can say will change her mind. She is locked in.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Assault, robbery or rape can go a long way to changing this lady's mind.
