She was a teenager! Ronald Reagan was a Democrat for longer. I have worked with this woman on the 2004 anti-Kerry efforts and she was also helping the SwiftVet folks dig up dirt. This is no Democrat. You want a RINO, check out the WaPo's Jennifer Rubin who VOTED for Kerry in 2004 and now claims to be a conservative.
I’m starting to notice some of that going on. The GOPe’s problem is that in general candidates rising up are more conservative than in the past. In their desperation for an ‘Establishment’ candidate, they pick the prettiest and shiniest one with the best insider cred. What they often don’t realize is that the candidate is more conservative than they’d like.
It’s a nice little strategy.
Liberal have Alinsky tactics.
Conservatives have Truth.
Which tactic do you think will win in the long run?...: )

Alinsky is based of emotions and feral instinct.
Conservatism is truth, and truth is like judo with a little Machiavelli if you know how to use it right.
The problem is conservatives tend to fall back to the shovel to the forehead approach on strategy. Or worse, the 60’s protest strategy. We’d win if we were simply more sophisticated and operated on the Machiavellian judo approach.
So that’s to say, we can win if we fight, and fight it right, but so far we generally suck at it, with exceptions, such as what Texas did to close abortion clinics indirectly, by going after the health standards angle. Play the liberals against themselves. Judo.
THAT is how you play the game.
Selfish conservatives are more of a problem than lazy ignorant voters here. More than 4 conservatives ns 1 establishment results in establishment victory in even in conservative areas. This happens almost every cycle. There is only room for 1 “i” in Victory.
