hopefully, convict on an impeachment resolution
(but the House will need a Speaker with some cajones, first)
post turtles
“... give Harry back the filibuster ...”

One of my proposals to the convention of states:
The seventeenth amendment is hereby repealed.
The Legislatures of each of the several states shall determine
the manner and method of selection of their United States Senators.
No bill, legislation, resolution, or any other business of any kind
shall be approved by the Senate without having obtained approval
of three-fifths of all of its members.
Nothing.
What would the RINOpublicans do??
Easy:
1. NOT repeal Obamacare, but spend a decade trying to fix it.
2. Approve Obama’s Supreme Court picks.
3. Milk the lobbyists for as much cash as they can, while lining up future jobs and sweetheart investments.
4. Approve any liberal former Senator for any position Obama nominates him for.
5. NOT vote to impeach Obama.
6. Do everything demoncrats would do, but slower...
They will continue much the same. They will make rules to share power with the Democrats
Never happen without a super majority in the Senate. Perhaps most have forgotten the power of the veto pen per King Obama. It would be vetoed and goes back to Congress and any overthrow of the President must be by this super majority. Forget Obamacare repeal.
“Repeal Obamacare?”
It takes fewer votes to simply replace Obamacare.
... If the Republicans win the Senate, says Norman Ornstein of the American Enterprise Institute, the conclusion theyre going to draw is obstruction works [emphasis added], ...
I recently ranted in a recent thread concerning Sarah Palin and the Senate that Palin is overlooking the following concerning winning the Senate in 2014. If patriots and former Obama supporters can get their acts together for the 2014 elections and win 2/3 conservative majority control of both Houses of Congress, then Congress will be positioned to do the following.
In stark contrast to the tunnel-vision comment by Norman Ornstein concerning obstructionism, and the likewise uninspiring comments by Thomas Mann and Neera Tanden, if patriots were to aim their sights high enough, a conservative-controlled Congress coming out of the 2014 elections might just have the power, under the Constitution's Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. In other words, Congress would be able to repeal constitutionally indefensible Obamacare Democratcare, for example, without Obama's signature. That's a far cry from obstructionism.
But since conservative leaders like Palin, Orstein, Mann and Tanden are evidently not as familiar with the Constitution as they should be, the blind are once again leading the blind and conservatives are going to lose two more years in their misguided effort to win the Constitution back.
Couldn’t have said it better.
They’ll try to pass amnesty to pander to hispanics and alienate non-Hispanics in midwestern swing states.
They might block some of his appointments.
Obama won’t cave or try to sign a good bill. He will leave office the same way he entered, as a victim of racist whites.
Elect Susan Collins Majority Leader “to put a woman’s face on the Party”.
Then pressure the House to go along with the destructive policies she believes in.
So support conservatives for the House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They will do what they did when they owned the Presidency, HoR and the Senate. They will continue raising spending. They will continue to increase regulations. They will continue to take our money.
Unless we change...SOMETHING we are destined for destruction.
They would do the same as they did when the had the majority in the Bush administration.
Connect the dots.
Pigs, Pig Trough.
Bring back the 14 Gangsters to throw a monkey wrench to GOP.
I expect bigger budgets (but not as big as Democrats), more Obama policies (but not as many as Democrats), more regulations (but not as many as Democrats), an Amnesty bill and more funding for Obamacare.
That’s what will happen with a GOP Senate.
That is my thought. What makes the GOPe think they will get the Senate if WE don’t vote for them?
Run it so well that in two years it goes back to the Democrats since no one noticed the difference?
