Israel spies on the United States more than any other ally does and these activities have reached an alarming level, Newsweek magazine reported on Tuesday.
The main targets are US industrial and technical secrets, the weekly said, quoting classified briefings on legislation that would make it easier for Israeli citizens to get visas to enter America.
Newsweek said a congressional staffer familiar with a briefing last January called the testimony "very sobering ... alarming ... even terrifying", and quoted another as saying the behavior was "damaging."
"No other country close to the United States continues to cross the line on espionage like the Israelis do," said a former congressional staffer who attended another classified briefing in late 2013, according to Newsweek.
It said that briefing was one of several in recent months given by the Department of Homeland Security, the State Department, the FBI and the National Counterintelligence Directorate.

They’ve been doing this for decades, regardless of who was in office at the time. Pollard did his spying, and was caught and convicted during the Reagan years.
To this day some here still say that what Pollard did was justified because America was holding back critical information about Iraq’s chemical and nuclear programs from Israel.

I agree with others in that I don’t blame Israel for trying, given the current state of relations and (dis)trust with the US.
But the continued imprisonment of Pollard should send a clear messages to any American inclined to betray their country to act as a spy for Israel of the consequences for doing so.
It USED to be America served the interests of America. Now we support the interests of the Muslim Caliph. If we reversed course Isreal WOULD support US interests to smother ISLAM, the CALIPHISTY and the dude that’s gonna jump out of the well.

Would not doubt if it was a Democrat MoBro congressional aide (the nameless one in the story) that is saying these things too.
How about turning that vast spy network away from American citizens and onto foreign agents? And since all those fed agencies have mil spec weapons, should be no problem rounding up the agent here.
