“Privilege” is a word that’s been tossed around a lot lately. But if you’re wondering about its origin, look no further than Peggy McIntosh, a women’s studies scholar at Wellesley College. Before Princeton freshman Tal Fortgang “Checked His Privilege” at the suggestion of his university professors, McIntosh wrote a paper in 1988 entitled “White Privilege and Male Privilege: A Personal Account of Coming to See Correspondences Through Work in Women’s Studies.”

And that is my concern. Right now the Left is destroying people through the civil process. It is not hard to imagine an increasingly armed federal government descending upon those the Left opposes.

More likely, I suspect, the Left's "protected classes" will begin to exact violent retribution against those they have determined unacceptable to them. Further, it is no stretch to think that these violent retaliations would be tacitly supported by the government, meaning no prosecution, and probably no real attempt at justice. Eric Holder has already set precedent on this point

The question is, how far and how fast will this come about. Seems to me like things are moving at a fast clip already.

Generally speaking whites have a strong sense of family, a good work ethic, believe in the 10 Commandments are financially savvy and a whole host of other positive traits.

The whole "white privilege" scam operates under the myth that success in life is random and just a matter of luck. If you're white, you were lucky to be born with that special knapsack of luck and privilege, and you never had to work hard in your life to get where you are.

I don't think even too many liberals believe the crap McIntosh and others ladle out. It's just another scam by wacked-out leftists to get money from gullible libs who pay to hear people call them names.

I am SOOOOO glad to be retired out of my corporate America run job. The job was great, the yearly diversity was getting to the point of absurdity by the time I retired. Checking the boxes to keep the feds at bay. It had gotten to the point of even if somebody overheard you say something not even to them, you could be “reported”. Don’t miss that part at all. Actually the group I was in was a, shall we say, a unique set of individuals who, if put in a serious corporate setting would probably all have been terminated. But we did the job that needed done and I don’t think there was anyone else that could have done it.
