People still buy that, do they. Not even Transjordan was called “Palestine” back before Israel was established. None of the Arabs that transformed themselves into “Palestinians” were ever worried about living in Transjordan/Jordan but taking the former Southern Syria back over.
That is why I say what I say, that Jordan is the real Palestine, which includes a flag that looks pretty much like the Palestine flag.
Pope Francis’s priority should be to support the land of the Holy Bible.

Pope Frank is a typical progressive - he wants to be real nice to everyone. But, that is not how God works. God loves us all, but he calls us to His Truth and says that we are accountable. Catholics are so confused by the insane church traditions that have been sold to them as Gospel, that they have no real doctrine anymore.

There were never a “PALESTINIAN PEOPLE”. This was created out of whole cloth by the ARAB LEAGUE, after the Israeli victory in the 1967 war. Let’s look at this with eyes wide open, shall we? Before the Israeli victory in the 1967 war, there was the GAZA STRIP (belonging to Egypt, that means every one living in the GAZA strip were EGYPTIANS, Not “PALESTINIANS”). The West Bank (belonged to Jordan, that means that every one living there were JORDANIANS, Not “PALESTINIANS”) And there was the GOLAN HEIGHTS(belonging to SYRIA, that means that every one living there were SYRIANS not “PALESTINIANS”). Every one of these people in Europe and the United States that now claim that there has to be a “PALESTINIAN STATE” is either sucking up to the MUSLIMS or they are completely ignorant of history
