Trayvon
by Maya Angeloo

I sing of thee Trayvon
Lamented burnt umber crayon
Shoud of stayed at home
and got your lay-on
But you heard the siren song of wet grass
and headed for Seven Elevon.

Zimmerman the triggerman
Big game hunter lay in wait
White hispanic in a panic
Rubberheaded, held your fate.

By punching him, you tried to reason
You cant of known - was black-boy season
Stand your ground, ground and pound,
Frito Bandito shot you down.

Someone at the White House needs to turn on the TV so Obama can learn about this.

Nothing you can say will be significant compared to facing her Creator.

Even if she is saved, she will be held to account, perfectly, for every word (as will we all).

“Who?”

An anti-Semite (actually anti-white in general) best known for bad poems read in elementary schools throughout the country.

I especially like the last line. Bravo.

Reminds me of “Courageous” where the hispanic “gang leader” was in the back of the patrol car, ordering lunch in Spanish in a threatening tone to the thug they’d picked up, causing him to panic.

A haiku:

Maya Angelou
The lefties loved her poems
Overrated. Bye.

How tragic. This is one of those events that will stick with me forever. I’ll always remember where I was and what I was doing the day I heard.....uhhhhh.....what were we talking about again? Ooh. Look. A butterfly.

Oh well, God rest her liberal soul.

Is she the one who wrote...”Kill my landlord....Kill my landlord....C-I-L-L my landlord”?

No, but she wrote words to the effect that oppressed people do not simply yearn for their freedom, they yearn to feel their boot heel against the throat of the oppressor.

Perhaps the best summation of RacePolitik in this country I've ever heard.
