I’ve never voted for a liberal, period. Never will.

You got it a bit wrong.

Going along with "them" isn't servitude to the totalitarian left, not near so much as never understanding the following:

I don't care for Romney, what Boehner has done, nor for the GOPE. But they aren't really the enemy, they're just wrong, cowed, and don't understand their enemy. The enemy is and will always be the totalitarian left. That you (and others of the Johnny one notes) don't seem to understand that point is, how do I say.........

The reason we are perpetual losers.

Breitbart understood it well, too bad you Johnny one notes don't..........

The Republican party will get conservative or it will get destroyed. It's that simple.

You can't count on conservatives holding their nose any more and voting for liberal candidates.

Welcome to the new reality.

Well good.

I'd love for the party to become conservative. If it does I'll be extremely happy.

In the mean time.....the totalitarian left is swallowing and destroying this country in record time.

Welcome to the new reality.

The totalitarian left has help from the liberal senate republican leadership, who provide critical procedural votes to further Reid's agenda.

The Speaker of the house is going to push Amnesty after the primaries are over.

You may be right.

You may not be.

I the mean time, nothing you're doing or saying is stopping the totalitarian left. Not. One. Thing.

Nothing you are saying or doing is stopping the totalitarian left either.

I am doing my part to make a dent in the liberal republicans, though. Dewhurst got the boot. I spent 4 years on the ground and on the phones trying to get him completely out of politics.

Rove's establishment candidate got his ass handed to him. Now he won't be able to play footsies with the Dems in the Texas Senate, and block conservative legislation.

So maybe I am helping to slow down the totalitarian left, by getting rid of their republican allies, at least in Texas.

Exactly

We can fight the left in the GOP first, it’s a sound strategy

Nobody said they wanted perfection but if you go out demanding imperfection, you’ll never get good candidates. The GOPe purists seek to destroy conservatives by pushing memes like that.

Part of Dr. Carson's point, which many here jumped on and went nuts over, is that when we get that less-than-perfect candidate, we do ourselves no favors by eschewing said candidate and ensuring an Obama a second term. He was tellig us that when the dice have been rolled, we need to get a taste of reality and do what's best vs. allowing the worst to get a better toe hold.

I will work tirelessly to see the liberal republicans destroyed in their general elections. The republican party can get conservative or it can be destroyed.

Let's hope you aren't playing the hare to the tortoise - we keep letting them get a bigger and bigger stronghold and many seem to think the lead can never get too big to be overcome. We are already under 24/7 surveillance, the gov't is arming many "administrative" agencies to the teeth, the guy in office not only allows that the homosexual agenda/abortion/illegals are Ok with him, he and his are in active mode to push them so far up our butts that there may not be a surgeon around with the skills to remove them. How in the hell is that better than a tepid conservative?

I have no problem with anyone trying to stop and replace RINO squish phonies, in that we have the same goals, and we do the same things.

That you stop there and don't try to prevent the REAL enemy, the fully totalitarian leftist machine from continuing to win is profoundly disturbing.

What happens is that good candidates get stomped on and then those that hate us demand our vote, my answer is no.

There's a big difference between a less-than-perfect candidate, and a pro-abortion, gun grabbing, socialized medicine, big government liberal.

And that's what the GOP wants me to vote for.

Are you saying that I should vote for a pro-abortion gun grabber just because he won the republican nomination?

Anyone that supports abortion, tries to restrict the 2nd Amendment, supports socialized medicine, or supports amnesty is a leftist totalitarian that is my enemy. Even republican candidates, if they support the platform of the totalitarian left.

Nice straw man. I'm all in for those things as well.

Tactically to only go against the squishes, yet not fight against the far greater threat that the national democrat totalitarian left machine embodies is self defeating.

To not understand the difference between fighting genuine full throated Marxist evil and a squishy RINO is silly.

It's not a straw man. Last presidential election, the GOP insisted that I vote for a pro-abortion, gun-banning, socialized medicine, larger government candidate.

That is the platform of the totalitarian left.

I will not vote for a candidate that supports the leftist agenda.

Why can't your party put up candidates that are in accord with the party platform?

There you go again: not understanding the difference between a full bore Marxist American hating candidate and a squish. A tragic error in misunderstanding.

Also, the idea that the GOPE "installed" Romney behind your back, rather than he actually went through the process and won the nomination is as filled with victimology as the stupid NAACP. He won. I didn't like it, but he won. It's no more "my party" than "your party", we simply lost because our tactics were bad and we didn't have a good candidate.

I saw Breitbart at a conservative conference three weeks before he died. It was during the primaries when Newt was ascendant. His take then was the correct one IMHO: "Fight like hell for whichever candidate you want to represent the party, but whatever you do, unite around the winner or you'll be responsible for the evil that this administration will continue. This administration and their people are the height of evil, far greater than anything we've encountered in the past, and we have to take them out. It's paramount to unite."

Now, that was hard for me to swallow when Romney won, but Breitbart was correct, I knew it, everyone should have known it.

These people are not just the greater of two evils, they're off the charts in evil, so much greater than the dumbass GOPE squishy go alongs to get alongs it's not even close.

I'm glad you're working against the squishes in the proper time, but ignoring the full bore Marxist American hating party and allowing them to reign in power has to be one of the dumbest things I've heard.

Gnats. Camels.

Are you demanding that I vote for a pro-abortion, gun banning, socialized medicine liberal republican because he won the party nomination?

Say it clearly.

And I am NOT a republican. I am a conservative. I am only interested in the republicans to the extent they run candidates that don't support the Marxist agenda, like socialized medicine.
