One that wants to win.

The better question would be which one would be more likely to get cross-over votes, and that would be the one that is less conservative, which is clearly true in this case.

Hey, if somehow Cochran manages to win the primary, and you all want to then let the establishment claim that “their” candidate won, and that this means we should all vote for Amnesty, I can’t stop you.

My argument is that a win by Cochran is NOT a “win” for the establishment position on the issues, because Cochran has not been voting the way the “establishment” would vote.

I don’t understand how political strategy and tactics has become such an unmentionable thing on this thread, it’s like people are looking for a reason to be sad and upset.

Note that the polls are closed, NOTHING said in this thread could possibly change the outcome, so you can’t even argue that my statements somehow could change the outcome.

More people here used to enjoy trying to shape the message.

Does Hannity still use 3 sentences per show and repeat them over and over and over ?

The thing is, it was God’s timing again. Without that need for rescue and trip to the doctors you wouldn’t have found out that it wasn’t a simple cold.

That was my very first thought.

Nothing else crossed my mind.

I never thought, "why now?"

Apparently, it will go McDaniel. Not as big a victory as Perry, which is now all in, but maybe a 10-15 point spread

Yep. Look how they refused to fund the party nominee for Governor of Virginia (not nearly a much as the last nominee), which was a very very winnable race.

I have no doubt you could have said such a thing before. The question is why you think I care that you had said that before. It’s not like you are the hall monitor and I’m about to get a detention pass.

The nice thing is, if McDaniel wins, everybody is happy. If Cochran manages to pull this out, I know how to keep the establishment from trying to claim victory, and I have no idea what you will do to console yourself.

Yes, Sir, dearest Cajun.
I’m going to stay HOME, save for going to Church.

Precisely, but it is looking like we might pull this out, even if it does go to a runoff.

Are there absentee ballots? Do we know how many, and from which counties? When are they counted?

The nice thing is, if McDaniel wins, everybody is happy

Except Babour and the GOPe who will kneecap McDaniel and try to cost him the election.

should only be 3000 total, split 2:1 to Cochran. Not enough to win
