MLK was an integrationist. Integration is combining two discrete elements into one i.e. MLK was a monoculturist. Multiculturalism promotes segregation. Segregation promotes racial tension.
High Schools today are nothing more than the AAA league for the Majors: the Federal Penitentiary system.
It would be interesting to know how many parents actually showed up, since the article didn’t mention it, there were most likely very few.
