Sadly Romney was who the conservative electorate was stuck with,,, but WE let it happen. Many of the other contenders would have been better than Mitt.

That being said, we let it happen and then to make it worse, 4 million of us let O win by NOT voting against O. Our side as a group needs to rethink how that really happened. What is inexcusable is that we allowed O and the left to hijack our republic.

When we were left with Mitt it was still inexcusable that we still allowed O and the left to win. The one thing that the Left has over us by a mile is that they will never say they lost, they NEVER give up the fight/ they always keep fighting! Now is seems like O and the left has so alienated a large part of the electorate he may have given us an opportunity like we never had in the last 50 years.

If we can get our foot in the door and all that.... and the decisive win against Cantor was proof maybe we are on the right track. Cantor was not bad, and under any circumstances would appreciate a Cantor remaining in office, but the fact we were able to not bat an eye at the loss shows real change in the electorate... nearly a political maturity that shows real change for the good.

We at FR meed to set a tone for the country. We need to be like the left and never let a chance for a victory go. It really seemed to show real hope with Brat. When the electorate choose Brat over a sitting House Majority leader. Our side needs to keep that move in direction alive. Win when we can but also fight to select the best we can so we solidify any victory we can for our Republic.

We also must learn to do all we can to block the left on any chance we can. Sometimes that may mean we need to hold our noses and never suffer a situation like we have now. If we get a chance for a Newt again, or for a Cain again, or for a West or Palin or for a Perry,,,, no more fighting to show the failings we may not like, but the POSITIVE sides we believe they, no, WE can stand behind them on.

Far to many of our side put an O in office, and we need to man up and face we somehow allowed that to happen. Yet we could have had the slate I just mentioned. We all need to try to find the best that we can in those who get the closest to an opportunity.

Ignore what the Republican Machine wants, but remember they are somewhat on the same side so do not dismiss one of those candidates out of hand. Just hold your nose and think how great it would be if the right is in ALL three branches again. Then WORK to see our chosen candidates gets the best positioning possible. If not, then take what we can get. A place holder is certainly better than another Obama type in any office ....again.

So I could vote for anyone of the following for nearly any position; Jindale, Walker, Palin, Newt, Cain, Perry, Carson, Delay, and so many of the new crop of Tea Party folk who are looking very promising. Who would you add to the possibles?

We need to be ready to win, and also start to be prepared for the negative the MSM and the left will dish out to try to poison our hopes... Understand there will be many times they will look to dash our hopes on our the way to taking back our republic from the left!

“When we were left with Mitt it was still inexcusable that we still allowed O and the left to win.”

Perhaps there is some truth to the government mind ray idea.

Pray tell, what is the excuse for supporting Romney? That Obama is worse? Well when they ran for office, Barry was actually on record with more conservative positions than mitt had. Look it up for yourself. You read it right.

On every single issue, Mitt Romney went the Democrat way. Even Obama was against gay ‘marriage’. Can you personally find a conservative spot on Romney’s record? Can you personally find an area where he could be legitimately said to hold a conservative position?

The military he made a career of avoiding anything to do with?

The gay thing that he supported?

The abortion issue that he championed?

The illegal issue whose numbers he employed, got caught doing and 6 months later still employed?

The crony capitalism he willingly participated in?

the love of hyperregulation that helped him turn Mass into a Euro styled mess of entrepreneurial exodus?

We have hashed this out countless times. Every stone that can be turned over has been and not one person pining for Romney has ever presented a reason to elect this closet Democrat that did not include some turn of the phrase “He’s not Obama” or “The Dem is worse”.

Well that isn’t a good enough rationale for driving people into becoming situational ethicist. And if America goes down because of it, the fault lies not with those that stuck to the principles that “ARE” America, it lies in those that would abandon them. To put it in a more modern context, “It’s not me...It’s you.”

You and those still bemoaning the loss of Romney cannot and never will have it both ways. Despite the excuses, condemnations and pictures of Yosemitie Sam on a Dragon, the simple fact remains that one does not move right by electing open, committed and proud leftists. That truth overcomes all the excuses, namecalling, rationalizations and foot stomping there is. Denying it is meaningless.

Each and every one of us had an option to vote for a candidate other than Romney. Exactly none of us were required to. None of us had a moral duty to. And for people on the political right that practiced situational ethics to then tell us we did is hypocracy on a positively Democrat scale.

Lastly, as you said, many other contenders WERE better than Mitt. One need not go any further than that to understand what the solution to the Mitt problem was.

Voting for one of them.

Now as before, conservatives have given ample warning to the GOP and their supporters. We will not vote for another lib. The GOP has a choice. As do their supporters. vote for a conservative or lose again. We are not going to support your liberal...

“No matter what”
