Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is on a flight from Europe and is scheduled to arrive in San Antonio, Texas, within hours.
Bergdahl had been in a military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, since he was released in Afghanistan after five years of Taliban captivity.
He is expected to be taken to a military hospital in the Texas city for continued rehabilitation.
"I can confirm that he is now en route to the United States aboard a U.S. military aircraft, having departed Ramstein Air Base earlier this afternoon," Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said in a statement Thursday. "He will arrive in San Antonio early tomorrow morning, where he will continue the reintegration process at Brooke Army Medical Center."
"Our first priority is making sure that Sgt. Bergdahl continues to get the care and support he needs."

Unlike the REAL veterans who served honorably only to be put on a secret list by the VA.
I am not personally cognizant of any other American POW...ever held by the taliban.

Ditto .... not going to happen. Within the next few days we will be hearing about Bergdahl returning to the US, reuniting with his parents in the Army hospital in San Antonio, TX. A few weeks later it's back home to Hailey, ID for the homecoming parade.

Onboard the flight with Bergdahl is the officer in charge, a physician’s assistant, psychiatrist, and a personal recovery specialist.
Is the recovery specialist good looking? I could use some special recovery.
Of course it will take him a while to re-learn English, so he won’t be available for questioning any time soon.

A rag mag is strongly suggesting that he had a wife and family in Afghanistan. Not sure if it is true but, would explain the tears and him not wanting to leave.
In this case, it wasn’t exactly the Taliban holding holding Bergdahl...it was a mafia group (just for the money-type) that do practice Islam, but not in the pure sense that the Taliban guys do. Also, it should be noted that most of the five prisoners released...were ‘flipped’ by this group to the US (for reward money, I would assume) to start this business several years ago. This group only operates under the goal of cash...so somewhere in this mix....maybe not the US paying....but someone somewhere paid cash.
