JERUSALEM – Members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.
The officials said dozens of ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq.
The Jordanian officials said all ISIS members who received U.S. training to fight in Syria were first vetted for any links to extremist groups like al-Qaida.

Did the US instructors also teach ISIS how to crucify Christian teenagers and perform mass executions in Iraq?
I'm not a big fan of Russia's Putin but he certainly nailed it here.

And we have NOT won a major war decisively since 1946, because the public and politicians retreat from doing what that takes.
WWII left images of the Holocaust, bombed Hiroshima/Nagasaki, etc.
People just are not willing to go there yet, or perhaps ever.
And the muslims most of all know this, and act accordingly. Their plan is not for one year, or ten years, but for a century or centuries if necessary.
They kill each other in massive numbers. They rival Hitler, Stalin and Mao.
The sooner this point is made convincingly, the better chance of standing up to them.

The Taliban was a Pakistani-Pashtun agenda framed toward local Pashtun Mujahadeen who had joined all the Majahadeen - local and foreign, in combating the Soviets. It was intended by the Pakistani ISI to secure Pakistani influence in and Pashtun dominance of affairs in Afghanistan. They all got their cutting teeth in the U.S. supported Saudi-funded ISI run war against the Soviets. The entire agenda precedes the formal organizing under the “Taliban” label.
