I used to like her. Bought her books and all. Shey says what we like hearing. Some of it is dead on. But she exposed who she is. No one made her do it. She simply isn’t the conservative icon she makes her money playing on TB and in bookstores.

And we should all look at her words in light of her actions.

I have absolutely no confidence in the inquiry. The general has not been named, insofar as I am aware. I agree with your comment, Norm, that all the honorable generals have been purged.

Even if honorable, will the inquiring general have the gonads to make the career ending decision that Bergdahl should be tried as a deserter?

I am not optimistic.

I understand the career ending thing completely. That said, our founders had a bit more than retirement bennies to consider and under a far more dire situation. And they chose revolution.

I am sure many disagree. But speaking for myself, I have been financially comfortable and I have been much less so. I would far prefer sleeping and use of mirrors than being a liberal catspaw. Because ultimately, the General that tanks this will not be remembered fondly by history.

Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl was named a couple days ago, graduated USMA 1982. Don’t know anything about him.

To me, it doesn’t matter much how far she runs right because it’s a GOProud/Romney lie.

Does she say good things? Sometimes. Do I trust her? Nope. When a Dem tells me water is wet, I check. When Coulter says it, no difference. She earned that with her actions.

Hah! He sure is. I read that a day or two ago about him being the deputy at Lewis McChord, it’s less than 100 miles north of us. Him being a Ranger kinda fits in with Ft. Lewis.

I sure hope he conducts a straight forward honest inquiry on this, if so Bergdahl’s in a world of hurt.

I’m with you on hoping he plays it straight down the middle dealing with just facts and calling out and rejecting UCI when it attempts to raise it’s ugly head.

We learned from Mattis and Haditha than even the most highly regarded officers are vulnerable. Dahl has some challenging days ahead.

Challenging days ahead for Dahl is probably an understatement considering UCI, this administration and the CJCS.
