Which makes me recall a time in grade school where I decided not to complete an assignment that was due the following day. The next morning, to my pleasant surprise, the teacher did not collect the assignment.

This led me to feeling totally vindicated in my decision to not do my homework and I decided to try it again on occasion with less favorable results. This strategy did not serve me well in the rest of my school years or in life, for that matter.

This is how I see the Obama strategy, he sees every favorable result as a well-earned victory.

"he sees every favorable result as a well-earned victory."

I can understand that in light of the disaster that has befallen Iraq, that the failure of ISIS to take a refinery would seem like a well earned victory to Obama. He's got to take what he can get. That's how losers think.
