Well, I didn't play a scientist on TV and I didn't sleep at a holiday inn express last night but, even I know that when stuff heats up it expands and will sometimes cause disrputions. Ergo, glow-bull discombobulation is once again to blame for these quakes. There. That was easy. Still waiting for the lyin'king to use Venice, Italy as an example of what happens due to glow-bull discombobulation.

They are connected. It’s not called the “Ring of Fire” because it just happened to sound good. How in the world did this “Scientist” make it out of grade school?

It's Almost like the Earth is connected or something.

That the Ocean doesn't cause a break between landmasses. It's just on top of it.

And here I thought that was just a Johnny Cash song. I didn’t even realize he was a scientist. ;>}

We’ve been bouncing around in California with flurries smaller quakes all over in a volume I have never before seen in my lifetime over the last few months.

We here in California all kind of say, “Oh good, the little ones probably relieve the stress of the big one”; but it seems that maybe they may be foreshadowing the BIG one.

Scary stuff! Is the earth revolting over being scandalized by false global warming dogma? We will probably NEVER KNOW! :-)

You’ll know it alright. Your feet will tell you right before whatever is over your head (hopefully nothing but sky) comes crashing down. But then again, we are already being sold the “Chicken Little” story in its newer version called “Climate Change”. Funny thing is, my climate changes whenever I walk outside my house.

California does not have a corner on ‘quakes.
Yokohama rocks nearly every week with rock & rolls...

The fact that your explanation totally avoided mentioning the fracking wells penetrating the Earth in Alaska and coming out in NZ shows just how far in denial you really are...

;-)

You are supposed to stand under door jams where you are under part of a wall. Can’t go outside because you could get electrocuted by live wires; and if gas lines break with live electrical wire there could be one big blast anyway.

WHAT? I was always told that if you start digging, you end up in china. Now you disrupt my beliefs and tell me it’s New Zealand. Well, at least they kinda speak English.

Well, I dunno. I was not into thinking about earthquakes until a mag 8 hit us last year. After that, I discovered the Philippine “Seismological Observation and Earthquake Prediction Division” on the internet. http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/ and the daily report: http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/html/update_SOEPD/EQLatest.html

There are quakes here EVERY day, but most are not noticeable.
The USGS also has an earthquake notification system:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/
They will send to you an email when there is a significant quake.
Of course by the time they send it, it is too late.

So, what’s wrong with a big field of strawberries, artichokes, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli? As long as anything is over your head when the big one erupts, a door jamb is not going to do anyone a whole bunch of good.

We have to deal with tropical storms and hurricanes, but we have days advance warning which is not the case for your location. Makes one wonder just how good it really is out there. Personally, I prefer the desert southwest.

Yes. Not sure if you have seen the movie 2012 where the whole land mass moves around the world. I do believe it will occur but not until the 1000 year is over after the Lord returns and reigns. That is when the whole enchilada will break loose. I think =)

While global warming IS a huge fraud, the 2 quakes ARE “linked”. They’re on the same planet.

If the liberals would take a aeruous look into the biblical prophecies that have come true they might reconsider their atheism

The family moved to California when I was a kid. About 25 years ago the place started to go to hell with especially illegal immigration, the teachers and government unions and liberals using courts to block many things in the name of the environment.

If CA was like this back when we came we would not come and I would suggest others run from here if they could.
Probably Florida is by far a better choice these days.

My thoughts are that oil, you know the lubricant that’s down way below us in between tectonic plates, might be there for a reason and we’re not helping...: )
