If conservatives had started a party when Obama was first elected, the party would already be 6 years old and growing and maturing. All the time and energy being thrown away now on the GOPe could have been spent furthering Tea Party Conservatives. People, who think they are geniuses but are idiots, say a 3rd party will fail, have already thrown away 6 years that could have been the initial ‘loss’ years and conservatives could already be in the 2nd or 3rd year of a prosperous Party and the GOPe would be dissolving and hopeless — literally the new party would be dominant now and the gop would be disappearing. People are so stupid. The GOP is OVER.

Yes, well, we are where we are.

On the other hand, they wouldn't be pulling this crap if they weren't desperate. When strategy was discussed at the very first Tea Party I attended in St. Louis in Feb. '09 and we decided to aim for a takeover of the Republican party (as opposed to 3rd party), nobody thought it would be easy or quick.

All things considered, we are closer than I thought we would (or could be) by now, even with the setbacks. And the leaders we are finding along the way are truly great people. I think we'll hear from Chris McDaniel again, come what may.
