I’d say no. The GOP loses because it doesn’t stand for anything. What it did in the Cochran/McDaniel race it has done many time before. Reward the good ol’ boys and stiff the conservative whippersnappers. Courting Democrats is old hat for the Republicans.

I’m not aware of a write-in campaign being forbidden.

What is forbidden is him running for another party. Ie, sore loser law. He can’t do that.

We plan to write him in ourselves in NOV.

I hate to say this but if we haven’t already lost the Senate, it will soon be gone.

The reason? GOPe like Cochran, Barbour, Rove, McCain, etc. don’t really care if they ever get a majority. They only care about holding onto their seat, their power.

If you don’t even have the leaders of your party trying to take the majority, how can the people prevail?

I'm not seeing the importance of replacing one Democrat with another Democrat, whatever the label they wear.

There are no Republicans, there is only the D.O.P.E. Party.

He certainly deserves no conservatives votes.

Time to teach the Republican Elite a lesson.

Haley Barbour’s sons are telling the media McDaniel can’t run either way. Just sayin’...

IMO, anything may yet happen, including the GOP LOSING seats. Esp. if they push through amnesty in the House, many Republicans will not vote, or they will vote to punish.
Myself, I am rooting for McDaniel to run a sticker campaign in November, trashing both liberals. Bob

She has a shot, but she’ll have to suck it up and get out there, campaign and give speeches. Sleeping will hand it to Gary Peters, who now polls ahead. Michigan is not a red state yet. Avoiding public exposure won’t cut it.

What part of the “black” vote in MS does Cochran normally get?
Because the flyer put out was directed at blacks (racism meme).
Did the “klan” democrats show up to vote for Cochran in this primary? If so, then they will not in the general—worth a wager.

Which will NRA support? Dem or Repub? Cochran’s position on 2nd Amendment, immigration and other hot buttons will decide this.

What I learned from what occurred in Mississippi yesterday, is that there really isn't much of a difference between the Democrat party, and the Republican party.

I stated my now-formulated thought on another thread:

I DON'T want the Republicans to gain control of the US Senate! McCain (etc) being a majority would frighten me.

Would that be “big daddy” Haley Barbour’s doing courting the klan demos on one hand and milking the black demo vote on the other?

Yeah, flip a coin, he votes with Democrats 50% of the time anyway. Any Republican that voted for McDaniels in the primary, and votes for Cochran in the general is no different that many of the minorities that blindly vote like herds.

Yes. The so called “rebranded” Republicans have joined with the DNC and are now big “tax and spenders” stabbing the hardworking middle class families in the back at every turn. Everything is about coming up with new ways for the politicians to steal more money from Americans by coming up with weird new “taxes”. I’m totally disgusted. I don’t have a country anymore and I’m not going to become a freeloader dependent upon ‘RAT politicians just to retain my U.S. citizenship.

I don’t trust the polls that have Peters ahead, I doubt that matches the Peters campaign internal polling either.

Peters is screaming about wanting 6 debates, someone running well ahead in the polls doesn’t want to debate.

Snyder will win easily, the RATS know it and won’t turn out to vote.
