Mark Levin: If I lived in Mississippi, I would not vote for Thad Cochran
therightscoop.com ^ | 6/25/14

Mark Levin opened his show talking about the Cochran/McDaniel election last night, saying that after what happened in this race he wouldn’t vote for Thad Cochran because he’d be betraying himself to do so:

If I lived in Mississippi, I would not vote for Thad Cochran, because Thad Cochran has besmirched me.

Thad Cochran has told Democrats, minorities, liberals, anybody who would listen that I’m a racist and that I want to stop black people from voting.

People assigned to him, people associated with him — Cochran hasn’t denounced any of this. Mitch McConnell hasn’t denounced any of this. John McCain hasn’t denounced any of this. Haley Barbour hasn’t denounced any of this.

They’re having a party! They won!

They won, and why? They’re so desperate to keep a constitutional conservative out of the Senate? They’re so desperate to protect a man in the early stages of dementia, because he’ll vote the way they want him to vote, because they can control him?

And that’s what we’ve become? That’s what the party of Lincoln has become? The party of Abraham Lincoln has become the party of race-baiting and food stamps? The party of Ronald Reagan has become the party of race-baiting and food stamps?

This is what happens when you have no principles. This is what happens when you’ve lost your moorings.

Reagan appealed to conservative Democrats on a cultural level. He appealed to their highest aspirations, not fear mongering, not race baiting, not by promoting big government programs.

No, there’s no way Thad Cochran would get my vote. I’d be betraying myself.

I think you need to educate yourself.

The GOP establishment is truly at war with us and will use the most vile Democrat tactics like race baiting and fraud to beat conservatives in their own party yet folks like yourself still argue to be pragmatic and appease these whores who detest us.

We lost in 2012 by supporting their MOR crap which enthused no one.

McConnell is in trouble in normally GOP Kentucky for being uninspiring at home even though he is a chieftain in DC

Continuing to support these people only gives us 1970s era Sam Nunn or Scoop Jackson style Democrats with GOP monikers....which anyone here old enough knows this is what these folks are.

What Barbour did in Mississippi with liberal Yankee money....Union money...environmentalist cash....the funds of our enemies

Is my Rubicon...I’m done.

I was where you are now during Bush’s largesse.....

You really should inform yourself what they did in Mississippi

Ignorance and being uninformed about your votes is not an excuse.

And sadly, once Lankford votes for Amnesty, there are going to be a lot of angry Oklahoma voters.

This is exactly what Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are hoping for. A republican senate with a couple of RINO’s is much better than a democratic senate with a thoroughly conservative (and ineffective) minority. Too much is at stake in the country at large to pass up the chance for a republican congress. If there truly were enough conservative/ libertarian voters to carry the state of Mississippi in the general election, why couldn’t they easily outnumber Cochran’s supporters (including the democratic crossovers)in the primary? Please hold your nose and save the country!

I have a great idea. When GOP or a RINO send envelopes for donations, return them empty except a piece of paper with “Remember Mississippi” printed in big letters. That way they get the message and have to pay someone to open the envelope.

BE SURE TO DUCT TAPE A CINDER BLOCK or OTHER VERY HEAVY ITEMS TO THE LETTER BEFORE RETURNING IT!

Not if they supported Lankford over Shannon after Lankford came out in support of Amnesty.

Lol I forgot to say flame away. Conservatives should be able toface the hard truth. They lost this one. You never heard of a dirty campaign flyer before? You don’t like crossover votes? Then change the rules or win by more votes, like McDaniels was supposed to do.

I got a contribution call from the RNC. I cut the guy off and said I’m not going to give anything and please make a note the reason was they are not conservative enough. Then I hung up.

But I ain’t voting for any Democrats or letting them win elections or control the Senate and those of you who would are the reason I have to live under Barack Hussein Obama.

Oh, I don't need to do a thing.

Judging by your comments, you must not care about Amnesty and how it will destroy not just Oklahoma but the rest of the US.

There are going to be a lot of sad, uninformed, ignorant Oklahomans once Lankford helps to pass Amnesty and they see the effects of that evil action.

I'm with you wardaddy. I'm now a RINO, so I can vote for Cruz and other TP legislators in primaries.

This will go down as a Pyrrhic victory for GOPe. They lost far more than they won on Tuesday night.

That’s the nice thing about states ... each state gets the representatives that it wants for its people.

Getting Democrats to vote for you in a run-off destroys the entire idea of a primary.

Now, let Cochran get those same Democrat votes to win the Senate seat.

Sadly, MS doesn’t allow write-in candidates.

Yes I agree entirely but those were the rules. If they violated it and voted twice then M should challenge it.

They are asking everyone to send clean unopened underwear packages tighty whities) to the border because the people coming across the border aren't wearing underwear. It's a humanitarian crisis, they say. I say we all need to clean out our underwear drawers (no pun intended) and send them to these worthless pieces of dog dung. I am not endorsing sending dirty underwear. Just want to make that clear.

I understand your response because I used to think that way. But, with all due respect, these Washington players are not rascals. These people are evil power hungry men. I promise you, Thad Cochran will not win this senate seat in November. There is not a single self respecting Republican in Mississippi that will vote for him now. The RINO’s in Washington better pray that Chris Mc Daniel runs as a “write in” candidate or this is one senate seat they will loose come November. I an officially ashamed to be a Republican.
