That isn't the flier that got Coch elected. This one is closer to it, which suggests republicans are trying to take away the minority right to vote. These two robocalls are more indicative of what was going forth, also. Also, no mention of republican in any of the literature or calls, and many blacks thought they were voting for a dem against the tea party candidate. I have heard that anecdotally from some people there and working on the mcdaniel campaign..

Two 40-sec voice messages from coch campaign:

Cochran-Blacks smaller

It's time.

"My suggestion is to ONLY donate to the Tea Party and let the GOPe know it. Maybe that way we can get some traction."

That's fine, but it's not enough. I think the Tea Party needs to leverage its inherent power. If people keep putting up with this cr-p and keep holding their noses in November, there is never going to be any change in the status quo. The GOP-e will simply view Tea Party members are push-overs.

Instead, play hard to get. Demand substantial concessions from them if they plan to get any support whatsoever from Tea Party members. We can't play nice anymore.

Only takes a minute and a little better than doing nothing.

The fact that it works speaks volumes about where we are as a nation.

Yup. If conservatives bend over and take this in November, the GOP-e will know it has nothing to fear ever.

“Just scan the posts to articles about inner city crime and you’ll see FReepers calling blacks “apes” “feral” “animals” etc. It’s not hard to see why blacks think the TEA people are racists.”

I have not seen “apes” used on threads on FR about black crime. If that word has been used, it should not have been, just as an image of an ape or chimp used by leftists to ridicule Geo. W. Bush (whom I do not care for) should not have been used.

On the other hand, the word “feral” does aptly fit some of the thugs discussed on the threads you have referred to and does not deserve an apology. Many of the thugs have been “wild and unsupervised” and learned criminal behavior since an early age.

But if you want to see some really racist rants, visit a few black sites (racist against whites, that is) or watch black comedians, politicians, or “stars.”

It’s not hard to see why some TEA party people think blacks are racists.

“The Flier That Got Thad Cochran Elected?” NOMINATED! Thad Cochran was not elected to anything on Tuesday. He was nominated to be the Republican candidate for US Senate. I am really disappointed that John Fund got this wrong.
