The city of St. Louis on Wednesday evening issued marriage licenses to four same-sex couples, a direct challenge to Missouri's constitutional ban on gay marriage.

The couples were married in Mayor Francis Slay's office.

Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is now likely to sue the city, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

This is just like Colorado where a lone clerk is taking law into her own hands and giving out licenses, now the mayor of St. Louis is doing it. In Indiana homosexual couples are getting married as I write this by judge order. This thing is not-so-slowly creeping towards the deep South.

We have absolute lawlessness breaking out, liberal activists and their government sympathizers smell blood, and know that nothing will be done to stop them. The coward Republicans (with a few exceptions) have turned tail and ran. The Senate and House leaderships are completely silent. No surprise here, RINO's who mobilize Democrats to defeat Tea Party candidates in GOP primaries, are not going to risk everything for what is right. Activist judges and natural marriage should be THE issue of the next Presidential election. Ran Paul basically said he doesn't want to talk about it, Ted Cruz is disappointingly silent when he should be screaming from the rooftops, the only potential candidate to really stand in the way of this is Mike Huckabee who made an amazing speech at the marriage rally.

Until the judiciary is reigned in, it does not matter who is elected to Congress or White House.

Men taking laws into their own hands should be expected......we were told by God this time would come.

It should speak loudly to people how depraved and far this nation has fallen and continues to fall...and this by choice. Unfortunately many are perfectly satisfied it is so.

Every deviant Democrat politician in the USA wants to pose as a great liberator, standing proudly in the tradition of MLK and all that. In fact, they do this at absolutely no risk to their political future since their constituents are even more debased and depraved than they are.

'Take a hint', I guess.

Gay marriage is a done deal.

The headline had me wondering is there was Polygamy going on here.
(4 same sex couples) Within five to eight years, expect that to become an issue. Suddenly there will be a lot of group weddings and Harem like arrangements. Many will pretend to be either Muslim or Traditional Mormon.

they’re say it’s not about sex but love , and so by that reasoning could people marry animals who they love, how about a woman with two husbands?

They can pretend they are married as much as they want and they can overturn millions of voters views but the fact is they are not married, nor will they ever be

“The couples were married ...”

No they weren’t.

By the way, the phrase you’re looking for is “REINED in,” as in “rein a horse.”

If marriage is not the union of one man and one woman, it is nothing. After the Roberts-led US Supreme Court rules that sodomites have the “constitutional right” to get “married”, they opens the door for anyone else to “marry” anything they feel like marrying, and just as sure as the sun coming up tomorrow the next great “civil rights” for weirdos will be when 3 or more people want to marry each other. The US Supreme Court will basically say that the Mormans in Utah were right all along, and they will rule that polgamy is legal in all states. Then comes the “right” to marry your brother, your sister, your dog, your refrigerator. Anything goes. Mark my words.

If men can take the law into their own hands and create fictitious “marriages,” then men can take the law into their own hands and DENY those “marriages” as well.

There has never been a same-sex marriage in the United States (or anywhere for that matter). Since marriage is a union between members of opposite sexes, a marriage between two of the same sex is a contradiction in terms, kind of like “dehydrated water” or “principled Democrat.”

True. There was nothing in the Utah decision yesterday that couldn’t be applied just as well to polygamy as it was to SSM. The 14th Amendment doesn’t say anything more or less about the one than it does about the other. “Equal protection.”

Pretty much sums up the "fundamental transformation". America has been transformed into the Obamanation of Desolation.

America the Beautiful was made in the image of God ("thy liberty in law"). The Obamanation is a deformed America, beaten into the image of depravity, deceit, and desolation.

Isaiah 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Oh wait..

MO AG Koster is a Democrat, as is Governor Jay Nixon. I expect a perfunctory challenge from Koster, basically allowing the Mayor to win so as to strike down the state’s marriage law.

Yes and a mayor who is also a Dem. This whole thing was a pre-arranged setup.

Lawlessness.

Disregard for God and His Holy Word.

Dangerous behavior.

See: Genesis 19, Romans 1, and Galatians 6, just to begin to explain why.
