ISIS: We will ruin the Kaaba after capturing Saudi Arabia
APA ^ | June 30, 2014 | Baku. Rashad Suleymanov

Representatives of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) stated that they will ruin the Kaaba after capturing Saudi Arabia.

APA reports quoting Turkish media that ISIS wants to take control of Arar city of Saudi Arabia and start operations here.

ISIS member Abu Turab Al Mugaddasi said that they would destroy the Kaaba in Mecca: “If Allah wills, we will kill those who worship stones in Mecca and destroy the Kaaba. People go to Mecca to touch the stones, not for Allah.”

Ahhh...Afghans are not Arabs.

You are mixing up race with religion.

Just as Iranians are not Arabs. They are Persians. The Persians ruled the Arabs for a while. The Arabs haven’t ruled anyone since Egypt and Mohammed.

The Kaaba (Cube) was a pagan temple before Mohammed. It should be torn down in the name of the one true god.

It's long, but interesting, particularly the YouTube links showing the details of the haj and worship of the black stone (kaaba):

Biblical Evidence Why The Worship of Allah is The Worship of Lucifer

It’s believed Mohammed was an orphan or orphaned as a adolescent and was taken under the wing of a Christian scholar.

Mohammed wanted to assert control over Arabs who had an age old enemy in Jews and Christians.

That above explains a lot. Mohammed asserting that the bible was corrupted and incorporating characters of the bible, allowed Mohammed to claim that historic lineage for Islam. Further, to appeal to the Arab sensibilities, where Jews and Christians were enemies, the Koran is written as literally an anti-thesis to the bible. In other words, they your enemy and they are wrong about God. The entire purpose being control and barbarous conquest -the tenants of Islam (permitted lying, taking of booty, taking of slaves, subjugation of women, beheading of prisoners) all serve that pursuit.

I had never heard that before. Must research that point.

If true, sounds like a certain modern-day "constitutional scholar" who studied the Constitution only to find ways to destroy it.

Yes, indeed! Mohammed might have been the first community organizer in the vane of Saul Alinsky. Hence the appeal of Obama, the anti-thesis to Judea-Christian values.

It’s my understanding that Mohammed, for a time as a pre-teen, traveled with a Christian scholar -hence all the Old and New testament characters that appear in the Koran. (Abraham, Jesus, etc they appear in the Koran.).

To give it legitimacy, above that of the Old and New Testament was then an obvious must, given the anti-thesis presented in the Koran -hence Mohammed had to claim the Old and New Testament had been corrupted.

Let them kill each other, the oil will still be there for the rest of us.

This may be the intention of a) Saudi; b) USA; c) Russia; d) All of the Above; e) Henry Kissinger in his sunset years.

They're telling Barry he can come out of the well then.

The whole middle east is depopulated and some American sitting in a hut on the beach collects a toll from the oil tankers filling up. He might even wipe their windows.

All is not as it seems in the kingdom:

http://www.sunnah.org/aqida/kharijites5.htm

“...By requiring subjection in principle to the authority whose voice is Wahhabism, this doctrine simultaneously renders these subjects open to the dictation of cultural and societal relations whose ground and condition are this authority. In short, Wahhabite fundamentalism puts forward a model whose task is to subject local societies with their customs, authorities, devotions, and other particularities to a general process of acculturation which prepares them for membership in the commonwealth whose linchpin and exclusive raison d’etre is the absolute dominance of the house of Su’ud...

Katie probably feels she has to put it delicately or they might demand her head. But in a way I agree, it was a disagreement; only with those people they solve ‘disagreements’ by killing & beheading each other - sorta a more ‘direct’ approach to conflict resolution. ;)

The Saudis are already destroying old buildings:
Sami Angawi, an expert on the region's Islamic architecture, said 1,400-year-old buildings from the early Islamic period risk being demolished to make way for high rise towers for Muslims flocking to perform the annual pilgrimage to Islam's holiest city.
“We are witnessing now the last few moments of the history of Mecca,” Angawi told Reuters. “Its layers of history are being bulldozed for a parking lot,” he added.

Angawi estimated that over the past 50 years at least 300 historical buildings had been leveled in Mecca and Medina, another Muslim holy city containing the prophet's tomb.

Wahhabism, Saudi Arabia's dominant doctrine which promotes a strict narrow interpretation of Islam, was largely to blame, he said.

“They (Wahhabis) have not allowed preservation of old buildings, especially those related to the prophet. They fear other Muslims will come to see these buildings as blessed and this could lead to polytheism and idolatry.”

However, the reason that ISIS want to destroy the Kaaba is that they believe that the end of times, Day of Judgement or Qiyamah is here. Read more here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_eschatology

It is difficult to understand that they can believe in this, but they do, and they will kill for it.
