WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says women's health will be jeopardized by a Supreme Court's decision that allows corporations with religious objections to opt out of a requirement that they cover contraceptives.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Monday that women should make personal health decisions for themselves.

Seems to me I remember reading an article about the government paying out millions of dollars to Medicare recipients in 2008 for Viagara. Talk about BS. Haven’t heard much about it since then.

I had a great individual police from 1985 to 2013 which had a high deductible and which I had only in the event I had to go in the hospital. Did not cover mental health, HIV and very limited cancer treatment. Kept it even though I was Medicare eligible because it covered only what I wanted at a monthly cost of less than $250. Received a notice last year that I could keep the policy but I had to add maternity benefits, wellness checks, and birth control, among other things, to “comply” with Obamacare mandates and the monthly cost was going to more than triple. Since my “baby” just turned 50, doubt if I’m going to have any more newbies so said thanks but no thanks.

*sigh* again...

There is no individual NEED for erections. None. It is not “medical”; one is not going to wither away because of it. I don’t care what males think is so desperately important to them and so the industry dutifully categorizes it so.

It is a WANT, not a NEED.

Any woman whose health is at risk because she has to pay for her own birth control [$4 a month at http://www.target.com/pharmacy/generics-alphabetic target] instead of her employer or the taxpayers providing for her hobby is far too delicate for the real world. Isn’t there an institution (an adult day care facility, not the institution of government) that feeds and cares for those who are not sufficiently functional to deal with real life?

LOL

That is another thing: “wellness visits” (we used to call them CHECK-UPS, thank you very much).

I should not even have to have a check-up, period. If I do not suspect anything wrong, that is not “medical”. It is not a NEED. If I want to waste time on that, I should pay for it myself.

I think it’s a scam. Just like the Viagra option.

Yep, don't really NEED to walk, either, or see or poop out your rectum.

Not being able to get it up is God's way of telling you to find a hobby like bird watching.

“White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Monday that women should make personal health decisions for themselves.”

Did this Supreme Court decision end their ability to do this? What a bunch of perverted, convoluted “thinkers” we have in D.C.!

Been following this young moonbat I know on her Twitter feed today.

Sounds like she’s about ready to hang herself by her panties at work.

Ridiculous statement from the WH considering prescription birth control is much riskier for women than not taking anything.

Even more ridiculous when you look at all the efforts made to convince sexually active unmarried people to use a condom, which is not a form of birth control included in health care plans. So we've got one part of the federal government saying "use a condom to prevent diseases" and the other part saying "women's health is compromised because they are using condoms instead of IUDs, the pill, etc."

And that is a great example of why government should stop trying to micro-manage people's lives.

As Rush said today you can get a months supply of contraceptives at Wallmarts for 9.99. The cost of 2 lattes.

“White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Monday that women should make personal health decisions for themselves.”

Maybe I’m stupid but I haven’t read anyplace that women aren’t being allowed to make personal health decisions.

It’s just forcing someone else to pay for it that’s changed.

prediction: Barry is gonna slap some kind of a fee on companies who opt-out and use that to provide the goods directly via PP or a Government handout program.

Looks like Obama is going to trump SCOTUS from the headlines with a unilateral move on illegal immigration.

One definitely needs to defecate. No question.

Walking is also quite necessary. In the wild, one would be a sitting duck waiting for predators. Aside from that, being moved is needed to ward off pneumonia and atrophy.

No comparison. Common sense, please!
