‘Now that bodies found, world won’t abide large military campaign’
The Times of Israel ^ | Tuesday, July 1, 2014 | Raphael Ahren

Despite the countless messages of condolence issued by leaders across the Western world, the international community would show little understanding if Israel were to launch a wide-scale military operation against Palestinian targets or expand settlements in response to the killing of the three Israeli teenagers, a senior diplomatic official warned Tuesday.

“We had some legitimacy to carry out Operation Brothers Keeper, including massive arrests of Hamas members,” the official told The Times of Israel, referring to the IDF’s efforts to locate Eyal Yifrach, Gil-ad Shaar and Naftali Fraenkel, who were snatched from a hitchhiking post south of Jerusalem and killed on June 12. The international community frowned upon the 18-day search for the three, which included the arrests of hundreds of Hamas members, “but not too much,” the official said, adding that Israel was only condemned when noncombatants were harmed.

“Now the whole thing is over and we will not have legitimacy for any military operation,” the official, who insisted on anonymity, said. “While we were looking for the kidnapped teenagers there was legitimacy for the operation, though not for the casualties. There were condemnations, but it was understood that we had to find the teens. Now, however, this justification does not exist anymore. Now any forceful IDF operation will not be understood.”

Israel is expected to crack down on terrorist organizations in the coming days, but world leaders expect Jerusalem not “to provoke too much violence on the ground,” the diplomatic official said. “That’s not going to look justifiable.”

They do take that into consideration ... but if something is clearly more important for Israel’s SECURITY, then Israel will act alone. The question here, though ... is what kind and level of retaliation will Israel have against Hamas.

>> That kind of disagreement is right inside the middle of Netanyahu’s meeting with his Cabinet ...

Of course. Too damn many JINOs in high places in the Israeli government

What do you want to bet that “anonymous official” counseling restraint is one of those slimy Arab MK’s?

Actually, I think it would be better that instead of a short term military campaign, that Israel adopt a different long term strategy.

Muslims are obsessive about territorial conquest by any means. It is the one way a Muslim can demonstrate to other Muslims that they are a “righteous” Muslim. Conversely, the worst and most shameful thing a Muslim can do is to lose land to infidels. To do so causes bitter humiliation.

Importantly, land eclipses *all* other things. Including prosperity, peace, happiness, family, and the thousand other things that Jews and Christians like about life.

But getting land is a form of greed. Thus it is endless and never satisfied. They want *all* land, everywhere. So offering them *some* land just whets their appetite.

Thus, a policy of “land for peace” is not just ineffective, it makes their behavior worse.

So the first thing the Israelis should do is to make a policy that they will never, ever, surrender *any* land to Muslims, no matter what is threatened or promised.

But then, the new policy: That with each and every attack against Jews and Israel, the Muslims will *forfeit* some land. It doesn’t have to be a whole lot. Even a few acres of empty desert would drive the Muslims bonkers.

They would threaten, offer anything (lying of course), and go begging to other countries to make Israel give them that land back!

And the other countries would be puzzled as to why a few acres of empty desert mean so much to the Muslims, so they would undoubtedly ask, or even demand, that Israel give it back, “because it is meaningless”.

But Israel must be firm. No, nothing, not. It is forfeit, *forever*. It may not be Jewish land, but it is no longer Muslim land. And it will never be traded or offered to Muslims for any reason.

Oddly enough, this is so traumatizing to Muslims, that under the threat of losing more land, they may actually agree to peace. But not ever in exchange for the land they lost, but only to keep from losing even more land.

Since they are an inherently violent and hateful people, they might eventually lose all of the Gaza Strip. And if that is the case, so be it.

Netanyahu’s Cabinet is still discussing what to do in connection with the teens.

Other than blowing up the kidnapper's houses ?

Frankly the Muzzies don't have to understand IDF action, they only have to endure ire, wrath, retribution and punishment for their actions. Light'em up! Weapons free.

The only thing about that is that it’s ISRAEL who wants the land to be given to the Palestinians, for a Palestinian state. Israel wants that more than the Palestinians do ... :-) ...

The reason why is if Israel incorporates all that land into the nation of Israel the numbers of Muslims that are there will turn Israel instantly into an ARAB STATE.

That’s what Israel wants to avoid at all costs and that’s why Israel does NOT WANT the land where millions of Arabs are residing right now.

That’s what I wondered. This slimeball has no words about what the “international community” should feel, say or do, re the demonic beasts who did this? What about international outrage over that? Or isn’t there any?

Yasser Arafat was the father of the “suicide bomber” attacks on Israel and many other crimes against humanity. The rockets come form PA controlled land, PA is complicit if not a partner.

So, it’s okay to be upset while the Israeli teens were missing, but after they were found butchered — just get over it.

Weird, huh.

But this is just what the ‘Rats would have us believe about terrorists. They’re not engaging in acts of war; they’re merely criminals.

There are apparently Israeli “officials” who think like Obama. You’d think that Israel would have figured it out after five thousand years of this crap, but apparently, no.

Freepers have short memories. The 2006 Lebanon war made Israel look like fools. Hezbollah were far better trained and prepared than they expected. The result left Israel stunned and wounded.

This isn’t your grandfather’s Israel. Thinking they can just waltz in and overwhelm the enemy is not realistic. The same problems within our armed forces are present in Israel’s armed forces.

Yep. Anyone who believes the PA has ever acted in good faith, or is now acting in good faith, or ever WILL act in good faith, is at best an idiot — and at worst, a Jew hater. And there are PLENTY of folks all across that evil spectrum, sad to say.
