Election Drama Continues 1 Week After Republican Runoff (3300 FRAUDULENT VOTES SO FAR!!!)
WJTV ^ | 7/1/2014 | Donesha Aldridge

ACKSON, Miss. - The runoff in the U.S. Senate primary between Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel may be over, but the drama is reaching a fever pitch one week after ballots were cast across Mississippi.

Deputies from the Hinds County Sheriff's Department are outside of GOP headquarters in Jackson today, while Republican leaders meet to talk about voting irregularities as claimed by the McDaniel campaign. We are told deputies are checking the identification of anyone wishing to enter the building.

In addition, State Senator Michael Watson tells WJTV News Channel 12 that the McDaniel camp has found 3,300 "irregular votes" from last Tuesday's election.

Supporters of Chris McDaniel contend that democrats not eligible to vote in the GOP primary, cast ballots in support of Senator Cochran.

In addition, a YouTube video surfaced Monday evening where a Meridian man claimed the Cochran campaign paid for votes. It is a claim that the Cochran camp strenuously denies. Now, WJTV has learned that the Cochran campaign is considering a lawsuit against the man. We will continue to cover this story and have much more on today's developments coming up on WJTV News Channel 12 at 5:00 and 6:00. You can also watch for continuous news coverage on both the WJTV Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as wjtv.com.

This is very encouraging news. I sincerely hope McDaniel campaign finds enough fraud votes to overcome the wining margin.

If not, I will send a small contribution to Cochran. If McDaniel wins, I will send him a much bigger contribution. Whatever it takes to neutralize Harry Reid’s strangle hold on senate is my objective.

Has Cochran made any public statements to the effect that his campaign rejects all fraudulent votes and that he’ll direct his people to join in the efforts to clean up the election results regardless of whether or not it’ll change the outcome?

If not, we know exactly where he stands and it’s not on the side of honesty and propriety.

The only statement from those frauds right now is a denial that they bought votes. They say they paid the black pastor for ‘drivers’. YEAH RIGHT! hahaha. They also threatened to sue him and Charles Johnson.

Paper tigers. They know the noose is tightening

If he resigns, the Gov gets to appoint his replacement.

The MS GOPe politicians and officials have stirred up a hornets nest
in MS.

Time for the FBI to get involved.

That's why the language is important.

There are two things going on here. 1) certifying the primary run-off election, and 2) resigning from office.

If McDaniel can get the run-off nullified and rerun, then Cochran can simply concede the primary and finish out his term with no thoughts of resigning. The state's run-off law is a cascading top-two if one declines to run, until there is only one left.

Cochran can still resign his seat, but the governor would only name his replacement until January.

If Cochran is declared the winner and then he resigns, he creates a vacancy in both the Senate and the upcoming election. The governor still appoints the replacement in the Senate until January, but the Democrat will run unopposed in November. State law only allows the candidate to drop out for non-political health or family reasons.

However, if Cochran resigns due to senility and not election illegalities, then the state GOP can appoint a replacement candidate.

Yep. It gets complicated quickly if Cochran resigns, depending on the timing.

So when will McDaniel’s team demand arrest, or at the very least, a legal inquiry? Or has anything already happen? They have the evidence.

They are still counting the fraudulent votes. According to the latest numbers, they are up to 3300, but they have not covered the Delta counties yet, another HEAVILY black area. This has a very real chance of being overturned.

The election STILL has not been certified yet. When it is, McDaniel is free to launch a legal challenge.

Yes. Bottom line is if Cochran resigns before the election is certified, it's a concession and McDaniel wins the run-off. If Cochran resigns after the election is certified, it becomes a circus.

A likely strategy all along was that Cochran wins, then steps down, then the GOP appoints Barbour to run in the general election without having had to run in a bruising primary.

However, all heck will break loose if Cochran resigns and the party does not appoint McDaniel as the replacement. Not only did McDaniel win the primary, he's also a respectable two-term sitting state Senator.

There are reportedly 19,000 absentee ballots for the run off and they haven’t even started to look at those yet. Some think that’s where the fraud will be the greatest.

***********

That’s been my thought all along except I was thinking the resignation would come
in the first six months of the new term and the appointee would 18 months or so
before the election to fill the remainder of the term.
