When crimes are committed - such as vote-buying and conspiring with election officials to make sure that the eligibility of voters is not checked - we’re not dealing with people who are on “our” side. An open primary may not be idea, but it’s the rules as they existed during the election. Changing them in mid-stream, even to improve them, would make a farce of the election.
