Getting packages in the mail is always fun but delivering them is probably a pain.
A USPS worker in Alabama proved just how much he hates giving rather than receiving when he started chucking packages into a ravine on his route. It was all caught on video by a resident in Birmingham.

I’m surprised they allowed him to resign. Tampering with the mail used to be a serious felony.

That’s only if a prole does it. Apparently federal workers can no longer be charged with any sort of crime.

Very misleading headline.
They don't have ravines in Alabama. They have gullies and hollows. (Pronounced, Hollars) Sheesh.

Did anyone check the address? Maybe that’s where he was supposed to deliver them...or maybe he is an nobama voter.

What do you want to bet he was going to go back after work and retrieve them for himself.

North of Alabanga, in the midwest, it’s “The ditch”....everything not paved or farmed is “in the ditch”.

I would not be too sure about that. It seems that the postal worker skipped the shred step and you know how particular the IRS is on following internal rules...

About 30 years ago there was a big flap with the IRS workers in Philadelphia. They were paid bonuses if they made their stacks of tax returns disappear, so they were stuffing them in the ceilings in the restrooms and doing whatever they could to “process” them quickly. Thousands of taxpayers had to re-file their taxes that year.
To: lowbridge
Throw him down there to retrieve every single thing.

I can’t believe this guy doesn’t do serious time; in trying to stay relevant, the Postal Service can’t have people thinking some lazy token gibsmedat is responsible for what could be important matters.
I was late to the online payments thing, but when Obama was elected I set up 99% of my bills for it (the few remaining were for a local oil vendor not set up for electronic payments). Since late 2008, I truly have no idea how much stamps cost; I’ve been using up “forever” stamps ever since.
