My dad was a Pharmacists mate on board ship in the Pacific during the battle of MIDWAY.......he never spoke of it.......just acknowledged he was there, did his best...then shook his head.
Its all in the RPMs (we are talkin cars here, right? ;-) LOL

There was a huge purge during thast last “big” Isreali combat event......Many wonderful people banned or purged, or lost...........damned shame!
If crap like that keeps up, all it will be, are the texas gunfest sycophants and a few of us that are addicted to Levin and Rush.

He’s just started talking a little about it, over the past 4-5yrs; before that, he wouldn’t talk about it, and neither would Mom, who was a WAC RN Lt at the VA.
I am a smart lass...I was married to a Urologist...I figured, if he didnt know how it worked or where it went,neither of us were gonna get screwed (so to speak) ;-)

Dads WW2 duty was so horrific that whenthe war ended, he chose to become a mortician, because he said he had soent the last 5 years of his life preparing men for burial, he may as well do it and get paid for it....but that being said...he had a sixth sense when dealing with the famiklies of anyone who died.......he just knew the right thing to do or say........he had a gift. I remember when my grandfather died, my grandma was running around the house like a wild woman..upstairs and downstairs, and to the door and back....and my mom and aunt kept saying “She needs valium!!”...my dad calmy said...”NO...let her be....she is just desperately looking for someone she loves that isnt here any longer”
I have never forgotten that...it was SO perfect and SO RIGHT!! (Yeah, I am so very proud that I call tha man my dad!! :-)
If it ever becomes a GLOstick, seek antibiotics!!
