Jenkins said hes aware of the risks, but that hes doing whats best for Dallas County. What I am trying to do is get things done, he said. The relationship between Jenkins and Obama dates to before either was in his current office. In June 2007, Jenkins donated $1,000 to Obamas first presidential campaign, according to federal election records. Back then, Jenkins was a practicing lawyer. I’m over here in Fort Worth rooting for the GOP to kiss this guy’s butt. I suspect he gets a lot more political influence from those pushing the Agenda 21 or NAU than the current administration.
