Elizabeth Warren Could Beat Hillary [Dick Morris is back]
RCP ^ | 07/16/2014 | Dick Morris

Posted on 07/16/2014 8:26:20 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

The contrast between the two women couldn't be sharper.

Hillary is the ultimate political insider, taking $20 million from Wall Street, including $5 million from Goldman Sachs. In two recent speeches to Goldman -- at $200,000 a pop -- Hillary spoke about why big banks shouldn't be blamed for the financial crisis. "We're all in this together," she reportedly told them.

Hillary's political campaigns have been financed by Wall Street. Her family foundation is underwritten by banks, corporations and foreign governments. Even as secretary of state, she aggressively lobbied for major U.S. corporations -- like Boeing -- to get lucrative foreign contracts. In Boeing's case, it returned the favor by making a $900,000 contribution to Hillary's favorite charity -- the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

Enter Elizabeth Warren, a new face in the Senate whose reputation was made by fighting the very same big banks that finance Hillary. Warren pushed for reforms in bankruptcy, subprime mortgages and student loans.

In her recent book, "A Fighting Chance," Warren criticizes the too big to fail policy as one that "allows the megabanks to operate like drunks on a wild weekend in Vegas."

She attacks Wall Street for rigging our economic system to favor the top 1 percent. She has become the darling of the left.

Like Hillary, Warren is touring America to promote her book and to campaign for progressive Democrats. Her populist economic message is attracting overflow crowds who cheer her anti-Wall Street rhetoric

I’m pretty sure he’s broken with the Clinton’s since Bill canned him for sucking a hooker’s toes (What a perv! That’s not respectable at all, unlike getting oral from an intern in the oval office).

And I believe he genuinely supported Romney and is now a very strange and unlikely Republican.

But his prognostications have been so bad it’s hard to take him seriously as a political analyst.

The person who can beat Hillary in the rat primaries is not the fugly moonbat from MA who was elected to the Senate only thanks to Obama’s coattails, the person who would be a terrible general election candidate. The kind of person who could do it is a younger male candidate, like Obama. I’d point to O’Malley in Maryland as a possible contender.

Yo, Impy. Check out Santa Claus. The Tooth Fairy, Leprechauns. The Clinton Foundation was his paymaster in Kenya. They paid him then, they pay him now.

Hillary's biggest problem is that no one (except us) could have foreseen Obama turning into quite the tyrannical incompetent Anus Flambé he has become, and she was right in there with him. She might not even want the job. I am convince-able that the Democrats want to hand the Republicans a steaming mess of an irretrievably tanked economy in 2016, leaving them holding the bag after 2014-2016 gridlock.

Some interesting economic models I have seen predict a comeback in the "Roaring 20s" .... no sooner. The country needs some combination of Eisenhower and General Pinochet, with an honest Congress ... and people to vote for them.

Might not happen.

Ok I guess I was confused because Obama can’t run in 2016 regardless of his health or legal problems.

Ah, by that I meant if Obama dies, resigns, or is removed from office, Biden will become President, and the incumbent being on the ballot in 2016 will become a possibility.

Worse than Rush.

Dick Morris Stands By Prediction: Romney Will Win 325 Electoral Votes(Nov 5 , 2012)

RE:” I’d point to O’Malley in Maryland as a possible contender.”

Obama admin warmed my heart leaking to media that my governor Martin O Malley called them and urged them to NOT send those kids to Maryland, after him (OMalley) giving that touching Dem gov's association speech saying that we as compassionate Americans MUST take them in.(playing the fools in Dem party)

I HATE Martin O Malley, more than Obama in some ways,

I feel the same way about my Governor. The great pretender Pat Quinn.

Another rat to watch is Julian Castro. A possible VP pick for any rat nominee, the same people that brought us Obama might decide to run him for the top job as the Hispanic version. He gave the keynote address at the rat convo in 2012, just like Obama did in 2004.

Cuomo Jr. may run, every election needs a candidate with daddy issues. I don't see him being the rat nominee though.

“...Another rat to watch is Julian Castro....”

Now you just KNOW that the Dems will love ANYONE named “Castro”...

Watch... he’ll have a little buddy named “Guevara” hanging out somewhere, too...

His voice sounds annoyingly like his dad's. Mario ... gag.

Another one I despise.

You wouldn’t think Americans would elect someone named Castro, but who ever thought they’d elected someone with Hussien as their middle name.

Any Chinese democrats out there named Mao?

I would assume putting someone with the name “Castro” on the ballot would hurt their chances with Cuban-American voters.

On the other hand, Missouri RATs just elected a Governor named “Nixon”...

Heh. Huff Po might be a leftist rag, but this article they have on real life examples of "worst names in politics" is hilarious:

I also wonder what percentage of the gay vote the California GOP got when they ran "Dick Mountjoy" for Senate? (who ironically is a solid conservative Republican totally against the gay agenda)

I noticed just the other say that the Treasurer of Alabama is named Young Boozer.

And OF course he’s an old man, like every politician named Young.

The surname “Lawless” is curious. Perfect for a judge.

Dick Hertz would be a good name for a urologist.

Judge Lawless is now Chief Justice Lawless:

http://www.legalnews.com/ingham/1208855

Maybe Gary Oldman should have gone into politics instead of acting after he graduated college. We should recruit a couple of 18 year old Oldman’s to run against the nursing home age Young’s.

Former NH Senator Bob Smith is now regarded as a political joke, but he kept winning office back in the 80s and 90s against a RAT candidate named “Dick Swett”. I wish the RATs would bring him out of retirement in NH so the GOP can sweep more races against Swett (pun intended). Sounds like a male porn star name. Wikipedia says former NH Governor Meldrim Thomson, Jr. actually OPPOSED letting Richard Nelson Lantos-Swett file for office as “Dick Swett”. I would have applauded him for it.
