Parents must not be allowed to profit by sending their children across the border unaccompanied.
Either the children are to be reunited with their families in their home countries, or they must be kept here, while their families are excluded.
It should be presumed that anybody who hands over a child to a coyote is an unfit parent, and parental rights should be terminated. If the children are to be kept here, they will need to be placed in either a humane group educational setting or with unrelated adoptive families.
But under no circumstances should parents be permitted to “bootstrap” themselves across the border by sending a child ahead of them.

He’s obviously never been involved in the adoption process and what it takes to sever parental rights. especially for foreigns. There is a body of international law concerning that, to avoid trafficking.
Just try going to Guatemala and adopting a kid!

Hewitt was taking a beating last night on his show as he was promoting this. It wasn’t so much the callers as probably email and tweets. It showed in his voice.
I’m listening to him less and less. This adoption program of his is a joke.
Americanize these basically socialist-inculcated kids? Who? The US educational system?
Build a fence? Does he think we’re stupid? We’ve heard all of this before.
He is crapping all over his brand, much the same as Marco Rubio did.
One has to understand that Hewitt is an elite. He went to the best schools, got a law degree from an Ivy League school, worked in DC and is basically a proponent of working within the system as corrupt as it is.
His political philosophy lines up with our about 85% of the time but he is still an elite.
Increasingly, as I listen to him, I find myself muttering like an idiot: blah, blah, blah.
That has become clear as evidence by their gradual disappearance from the airwaves.
There are probably 2 billion people in the world living in terrible conditions. To be fair; we should bring all of them here as well.

I used to live in a fantasy world where I drank the magic potion and believed almost everyone was a “conservative” when in reality almost all of them were Republican moderates-liberals-GOPe posing as conservatives to suck me into supporting the 95 percent of Republican elected officials-candidates that are non-conservative.
I have not listened to Hugh Hewitt regularly, didn’t realize that he was GOPe. Then why is he on Salem Radio stations??
