I pick up my mail from the mailbox in front of my house every four or five days. Sometimes I forget and notice the door is open and it’s stuffed to the gills.
Pretty much everything in it gets tossed.

They can’t deliver it to the right house in broad daylight, so what’s the difference?

Ditto. Nothing useful comes in the mail except the occasional Drivers license, CHL, or other BS...

Obviously everybody's mail isn't come after 5:00, because if so, what are the carriers doing for the first eight hours of their shifts? Someone must be getting theirs before then.

Slightly off topic. I recently had a $100 mailbox ripped off it's post. I live in a rural area without many visitors.
If I find the culprit, I am going to rip out the post and shove it up their ass!

Happy anniversary! Thanks.

We had a series of kids hitting mail boxes (including mine) with aluminum baseball bats. I tried to catch them once but was a bit too slow.
Fortunately someone else did catch them and I think they got a fairly serious conviction.

BS; lazy, fed union crap.
We went to our main post office in Cincy, were doing a passport. We were told we had to make an appt and had to come back, so I said, please, can you see if you can do it today while we’re here? BTW, no one was in line. While she was in the back room checking on whatever, I embarrassed my wife and said out loud, well, that proves we work for the government now not they work for us. The lady must have heard me because she got on it and got it done while we were there.

They need to raise the price of junk mail”
Agreed - one rate, all first class. I empty my box once a week. 99 per cent of it goes straight to the trash.

We should call it TRASH MAIL instead of junk mail.

This bums me out. Now I have to wait until late to open my box and throw everything out.
I get NOTHING in the mail I need or want.

If I have them drive to my house and deliver the mail, it’s free. If I agree to have them put the mail into a box at the post office for me to pick up later, I have to pay for it. Seems kinda backwards.

I don’t recycle either. Last fall they delivered those horrid green trash containers with the yellow lids to our neighborhood. One neighbor commented that they noticed I never put mine out. Told them they were right and if they wanted mine, I would be glad to give it to them so I can get it out of my garage. I prefer to keep Glad and Hefty in business!

LOL. Here’s the irony where I live; the post office keeps their own white baskets in our community mailbox area and they actually take it (maybe they recycle it).
So they deliver it, know we’ll throw it all away, and then haul it off. What a scam.

So they’re cutting funds for mail delivery. Gee, I didn’t know mail delivery is what’s busting the budget.
Look at what they’re NOT cutting.
