Union president, Lee Saunders, of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees sent a letter to the United Negro College Fund President Michael Lomax announcing that the union was severing ties with UNCF because he accepted a donation of $25 million dollars from Koch Industries and the Charles Koch Foundation and spoke at a Koch-funded summit.
In a letter, Lee Saunders wrote that he was “deeply troubled” by Michael Lomax’s decision to accept $25 million from David and Charles Koch. He assumed that by accepting those funds Mr. Lomax was “in no way supporting or lending the name of the UNCF to the political or social causes view of the Koch brothers.” He then continued saying that he was “truly stunned” to learn that Mr. Lomax spoke at a Koch brothers summit in California and feels that it was a “betrayal” of everything the UNCF stands for and that his appearance at the summit could only be interpreted as “a sign of your personal support and the UNCF’s organizational support of the Koch brothers’ ideological program.”

You would think they would be ecstatic for money to send more black people to college.

There’s no internal debate in the DNC... and where minority voters are concerned.... JUST to discourage debate and to retain unquestioning allegiance... A great deal of money has to be thrown at them or else constant and increasing freebies from the government.
I am pretty sure that THIS is not government as the founders understood it!
If minorities are forever complaining about their status in the US, maybe they have been digging the hole for themselves and it’s time to look at things differently!
African-Americans, poor souls....have nary a clue. They are adrift-at-sea....and, will be that way for many years to come. They are the only “American” dash group that just don’t get it!!! Point: Obama, the NAACP & the CBC are pure poison for all African-Americans!!! Until, they change their “culture”, they go nowhwere...but remain in economic slavery with their “Black” masters & users!!!

Agreed. What if we view this not as just evidence of the Democrat strangle hold on blacks but as an opportunity to congratulate blacks for thinking for themselves and maybe send a few bucks their way? The Commies have been playing divide and conquer fro lo these many years, what if in this moment we turned the tables on them? What say you?

Well.....in reality.....there is a rising, growing and very effectively vocal goup of conservative Blacks that are no longer silent. The NAACP low life treatment of fellow “conservative Blacks” who know the NAACP “economic slavery scam” gig quite well.....is really a panic attack by the NAACP, the CBC and the Obamabots losers to silence the voice of truth....that all Blacks should know and recognize!!! funny....Obama has never really been one of them....and never will be!
Problem is: Ya can lead a horse to water.....but...ya cannot force him or her to drink!!! African-American racist culture must undergo a serious change of “Obama culture”.....or, African-Americans go nowhere!!! It is as simple as that!!!

I think your guessof 5% is probably pretty close to what it really is!!! It is, however, growing!!! Slow...but it is growing!!! The Black culture will be very hard to change....for the rank & file African-Americans have been duped for many, many years by their “so-called” Pastors, Ministers & Preachers of religion, like Al Sharpton, Jessie jackson, etc., and the NAACP, CBC and Barack Hussein Obama!!!
These Black & liberal shysters & con men/women,....all of them.....have kept American Blacks in the chains of economic/opportunity/education slavery. These....so-called “tribal” leaders really only care about three things, power, money and greed!!! Until African-Americans really realize they have been had.....they go nowhere!!!
Ya think they would be smart enough, after six years of no “hope & change” from Obama and his Democrat party low life ilk, to realize they are just pawns in the game of faux slavery by their own kind!!! Remember....African-Americans are the only group of “dash” Americans that have stayed in poverty and lack of opportunity caused by their own political actions....voting for frauds, failures, crimnals & thugs!!! I think more and more blacks are catching on to Obama but for the wrong reasons. They have not gotten what they expected financially.
Blacks will have to pull themselves out of the trap they are in. No amount of money from others will do it. It will take a strong effort by hardworking blacks who have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps to affect change, neighborhood by neighborhood, family by family.
