On the July 23 edition of The Ed Show, host Ed Schultz and guest Michael Eric Dyson took turns attacking former NFL coach Tony Dungy for stating that he “wouldn’t want to deal” with the media attention that followed the drafting of Michael Sam, the NFL’s first openly-gay draftee.
Congrats, Tony. You are now officially an evil straight white male racist. How does it feel? You can pick up your card the next time there is a Ted Nugent concert in your area.
I will give the man, credit, however, for making the conversation about his sex life, rather than about his skillset.
IMO, it's a smart move, since his skillset isn't professional caliber. He can either bludgeon a pro team into keeping him around, or if they don't, then it's because they're a bunch of bigots and he can twist that into a lawsuit or a moneymaking job as "The First Gay Football commentator", or somesuch.
He's taken a near certain failure and turned it into a win-win situation. Well played.
The worst thing that could happen to Sams, a defensive lineman/defensive end, at this point is that they let him play, and he gets kicked all around the field proving his low ability to be true.
The message then will be: “He really couldn’t play.”
He should pray for a career-ending injury in training camp.
A leader of men, a loving husband, a caring father, an enterpeneur who always gives back more then you take.
But if you dare speak the truth about a previously reprobate perverted unhealthy LIFESTYLE CHOICE...you are now accused, convicted and condemned to the backwaters of modern American Society.
