In Mosul, ISIS fighters have daubed the letter ‘N’ for Nazarene, or Christian, on the walls of Christian-owned houses before rounding up the residents and stripping them of their money, jewellery and even mobile phones.

‘It's a very difficult time, Mosul is empty of Christians,’ says Father Andrzej Halemba, Middle East coordinator for Aid to the Church in Need. ‘Two thousand years of beautiful history, where the Christians and Muslims for centuries had helped each other, but now it’s the end of Christianity in Mosul. It's dreadful news.’

Well, let’s just see what sort of paradise Mosul becomes.

The Mosul Christian purge is the subject on tap for our adult Sunday School class this week. This has some awareness and traction.

This atrocity is just another example of how EVIL Islam really is. What we are witnessing in 2014 is the same barbarism that was prevalent during and after the psychopath Mohammed went on a rampage nearly 1400 years ago.

BTW...has anyone one heard any condemnations coming from the so-called moderate Islamic world? </s> I didn’t think so. This religion is a religion of “Domination and Death”...not peace.

One last thing...what if Christian all over the world started forcing Muslims to either convert and pay tithes... or face death?

History unfolding and evidences of an alternative ideology wiped out forever.

Paleo-nazis cleansing their lands.

The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the be- lievers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.”— Majid Khadduri - The Quranic Concept of War

If we are looking for genuine persecuted refugees to take into this country, we need look no further than these unfortunates.

Somehow, I think they would be better Americans than the Somalis or hordes of other Muslims we have been admitting - or the Central American Democrat voters and criminal gangs.

I wonder how they would feel about the invitation after what we did to them.

‘Two thousand years of beautiful history, where the Christians and Muslims for centuries had helped each other,”

Somehow I rather doubt this is true; two thousand years of jhimmi-ness is probably more like it.

Recall that over a million Armenian Christians were killed about a century ago, very nearby (meaning, your life as a jhimmi, even under the “tolerant” Ottomans, was always precarious.)

It is possible that God allowed this to happen so that there would be no Christians around when God renders a judgment.

“It is possible that God allowed this to happen so that there would be no Christians around when God renders a judgment.”

Exactly. He may be clearing them out of future harm’s way...

Part of me has often wondered how/why any Christians could be there in the first place.

I believe this is the kind of situation the founding fathers foresaw with governments and it is why they added the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.
