I too think arresting someone for an infraction is way overkill. If they have been flagrant violators over time, perhaps. I sure wouldn’t enforce that for a one time infraction as long as the person was reasoned and responded to my request to conform to the law without incident.
From what I’ve been reading, this is Guilliani’s “broken windows” policy being taken too far. Jaywalking, sidewalk grilling, peddling wares, etc, have all been thrown into the mix. Its gone way beyond the original scope of the law.
That could be.
This is one incident where I’d be interested in seeing the video.
Agreed. I’m far more interested in the illegal barbecue aspect of this case, then I am about any alleged choke hold, quite frankly. The pictures don’t even show the barbecue/ sidewalk in question, and that’s what I was looking for. :-)
LOL! I like that name “New North Korea city”! Absolutely perfect name because that’s exactly what it is. A man sells a single cigarette and they kill him, a pregnant woman simply barbeques and they try to take out as well. That city is the absolute epitome of what happens when liberals are allowed to run amok.
Thanks for the confirmation.
I hope you can take the time to enlighten others on this thread as to what living in NYC is really like.
Former girlfriend asked me, after numerous refusals on my part "How could I get you to go to NYC?"
I told her "Bound and gagged in the trunk of a car."
She was probably grilling pork and a Muzzie turned her in...I hate when that religion gets disrespected...
I could understand this response if they were grilling crack...
