Sadly the liberal Californians bring their misguided politics with them to Texas and continue to vote Democrat. Truly it's a mental disease to both leave a dying state because of liberalism and yet cling to that same ideology that enslaved the place the left.
This is not dissimilar to the Muslims coming to the U.S. who don't cast away the chains of the religion that created the hell hole they left.

Obama is letting in enough Latinos that for the most part vote Dem into Arizona and Texas. That is the plan.

With freight trains full of illegals driving into Texas, escorted by DHS, they’ll have no problem getting that dirt cheap illegal labor!
A win win...

Your criticism misses the mark.
CA went from a swing state to solid democrat for the same reasons Texas is turning from red into a swing state - foreign immigration. Thanks to decades of media lies the world believe the GOP is the party of white racists, as do the vast majority of those entering the cow ntry from the third world.

California IS Texas’ future if Texans aren’t careful.

Not exactly, California was never as “truly” conservative as Texas, it was merely republican, and Texas isn’t becoming a “swing state” judging from election results.

All I can say is that, in either case, teach your kids Spanish.

Clearly foreigners from third world countries, voting for the same thing that destroyed the countries they came from has a lot to do with California's situation, but you can't overlook the fact California is home to a third of the Nation's welfare recipients. We attract takers, and export producers.
On a side note, I went to the Orange County Fair last weekend, and there was a really nice looking information display promoting Texas. I didn't go into it, but no other state was present.

Texas has no choice. They will become California when the Latino majority is old enough to vote.

I wish I could speak Spanish. Here in Texas I’m surrounded in my neighborhood and city. It’s hard for an old person to learn a new language.

With Obama’s impending legalization of at least 5 million illegals on the near horizon, California is the nation’s future.

I expect one of these days to see California put up a concrete wall around its borders to keep the inhabitants from escaping its Socialist paradise.

You are comparing apples to oranges and drawing a straight line, Texas and California are’t the same, and never have been.
Texas lives and passes laws and controls it’s culture and education system as though it does have a choice, and it shows in the effect that immigration has been allowed to have on the two different states.
California and Texas had two different base populations when immigration exploded on them, even when voting republican, California was famous for being socially liberal and not socially conservative or Evangelical.
