BRUSSELS/DONETSK Ukraine (Reuters) – Russia has massed around 20,000 combat-ready troops on Ukraine’s border and could use the pretext of a humanitarian mission to invade, NATO said on Wednesday, its starkest warning yet that Moscow could soon mount a ground assault against its neighbor.

“Sense of soul” was from Bush’s very first meeting with Putin. Putin had just been appointed by Yeltsin and hadn’t secured his power. Oil prices were low and thus Russia was poor. The deceiver Putin knew he had to call up all his acting skills to appeal to the president of the most powerful country in the world and he managed it for a short while. That’s it.
