Hamas states on Saturday that it would continue attacks on Israel, if Palestinian demands it put forward in indirect talks in Cairo were not met.

Palestinian demands include lifting the siege, reopening the border crossings, and allowing construction material into the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinians are also demanding free passage between the West Bank and Gaza Strip, freedom of fishing within 12 miles of the coast, reopening the Palestinian airport in the southern Gaza Strip, construction of a seaport and cancellation of buffer zones along the border with Israel.

At the same time, Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri said the group was prepared for a long battle. He said that Gaza was no longer willing to rely on the Egyption border crossings, namely the Rafah crossing, and that it demands a port to enable the free movement of people and a flow of trade.

and allowing construction material into the Gaza Strip...

Sure thing. Would you like some ball bearings, nails and shrapnel with that cement?

They are getting their butts absolutely pasted by the hated Jews, yet they still make demands.
Pray for the IDF - they've still got a lot of hard work to do.

What’s to stop ISIS from getting into war-torn Gaza and taking up the battle?

Every time I think “how stupid do they think the rest of the world is” I hear something on TV or radio that answers the question. Pretty darn stupid indeed. You would think that after 50+ years of the exact same obvious lies that the world would notice. Sheesh.

How would we spot the difference between ISIS and Hamas?

Israel needs to bring in some passenger ships and offer to take the refugees to Lebanon and other muzzy nations. Say that Gaza is about to be turned into a parking lot.

Israel is coming to the sad realization that although they have won this battle the strategic situation remains unchanged. They have destroyed most of the assault tunnels and the rockets have largely stopped falling. However nearly two million hostile Palestinians continue to live in adjacent Gaza. Hamas or a group just like it continues to govern and will eventually rearm. The missiles will become more sophisticated and stealthy. The jihadists will have no difficulty recruiting suicide terrorists. What’s more the photographs of destruction and civilian causalities have generated misplaced worldwide sympathy for Hamas and the Palestinians who are being played as gambit pawns. Changing demographics and a woeful pervasive ignorance of history has caused a decline of Israel’s support in the West. The policies and attitudes of the Obama administration is not happening in a political vacuum. Can anyone imagine as little as ten years ago a former speaker of the House and current prominent Democratic leader Pelosi characterize Hamas as a “humanitarian organization” and not be forced to resign? Things are changing and the worst is yet to come.

By all accounts, ISIS is more concerned with “purifying” the areas under their control then they are with getting into a fight with Israel. Besides, they consider Hamas to be ‘apostates’ and fighting Israel is by their reckoning, pretty low on their list of priorities.

ISIS wears black clothes has the latest US gear - including M190 towed arty and M1A1s; Hamas wears grey cloths and head scarfs, and has the latest Irainan rockets, RPGs, and AKs.
