Nice to have a civil discussion with you. I’m also making my comment in all of the non-combat and military aid we gave Britain. Take that away, it would have been game over on the islands.
You DO realise that Canada, Australia, and the whole Empire kept us going with immense amounts of supplies?. Britain relied primarily on itself for survival. Then the Empire. Then America.
Whilst we thank you for what you gave us, its foolish to think the British relied on America to survive.
