A protest is being planned for Sunday in front of Los Angeles police headquarters in downtown after a man was shot and killed by an officer this week in Florence.

The shooting occurred about 8:20 p.m. Monday after an officer conducted "an investigative stop" in the 200 block of West 65th Street, according to an LAPD news release. During the stop, a "struggle ensued" and the officer shot the person, whom police did not identify.

Family members identified the man as 24-year-old Ezell Ford, who they described as "mentally challenged." His mother, Tritobia Ford, told KTLA her son was complying with officers' orders, and that the shooting was unjustified.

Will this be Fergeuson Part II??

That's the definite intent...not five minutes ago, L.A. TV news was "interviewing" the locals and the script was identical to what's coming out of Missouri - even including "He had his hands up".

“mentally challenged” describes about 75% of Los Angeles.

This will go on and on because some will look for anything to use tragic deaths to push their own agenda or use this for their hatred of all cops.

All this crap will do is to entice more thugs to attack cops, but then again if the cops defend themselves they are still wrong for the social justice lot.

The Radicals needed something to get the blacks angry enough to show up for a mid-term election. They found it...

They have done the same with Hispanics, exactly as predicted, at the first of the year.

Remember, we aren’t dealing with “Democrats” anymore, but the Radical Socialist Academics.

Coincides with elections coming up too.

The media and the left are acting this up to get people to the polls and takes the heat of their messiah.

Including that in both cases, there was a “struggle over the officer’s gun.”

Anyone struggling with an officer for the officer’s gun is going to be shot dead and no one should be surprised.

But both families claim their sons were just “good guys” minding their own business.

There’s also this: How are Jesse and Al going to be in two places at once?

That all depends on your perspective. Here’s what happened to WaPo reporter Wesley Lowery tonight in Ferguson:

Multiple officers grabbed me. I tried to turn my back to them to assist them in arresting me. I dropped the things from my hands.

“My hands are behind my back,” I said. “I’m not resisting. I’m not resisting.” At which point one officer said: “You’re resisting. Stop resisting.”
