From the initial reports it is pretty clear that the little angel attacked, and harmed the police officer. The question in my mind is if Unarmed was shot multiple times during the attack or if he was shot once, tried to retreat, and the officer decided to perform the coup de gras in retaliation for being hit.

The cops say Unarmed was shot while assaulting a cop, multiple witnesses say he was shot several times with his hands in the air. The latter scenario would allow for both these statements to be true. Of course people lie, but I have no reason to beleive the cops any more than the witnesses.
