Ferguson police released a report today detailing a robbery before the fatal shooting last week of 18 year-old Michael Brown. Chief of police Jackson held a press conference early Friday morning.
Here is a copy of the report on the Ferguson convenience story robbery.
Michael Brown was 6′ 4″ and 292 pounds.

Watching MSNBC right now and the meme is he just shoplifted a pack of cigarette. An Alderman is suggesting that the cop didn’t know about the robbery when he stopped him. How he comes to that conclusion is a mystery.
Oh for cryin’ out loud .... he was shot by an officer of the same race? This just isn’t working out so well for Sharpton, et al. The innocent, minding-his-own-business young gentle giant of a man was robbing a store, had the clerk by the throat, and now he was shot by this non-white officer? Wow again.
Seriously, the officer and family have been moved to another town for their safety - good move and I don’t blame the police for not being “transparent” until now. They have gotten their ducks in a row and a lot of folks (race baiters) are going to be unhappy with the way those ducks are quacking. Very sorry the parents lost their son ... but they’d ‘lost’ him to violence and crime before he was killed. Prayers for the Sgt. - killing someone tends to haunt you for life, even if it was justified ... and this is looking like it may turn out to be that way.
I wondered why the “Reverend Jacksonnnnnn” has been relatively quiet.
OK, not bashing police, but the video footage still begs the question of what went down with the shooting. Was the victim 35ft away? some things don’t make sense. This whole thing doesn’t smell right from either the police or victim side.
I heard he was 6'6" and 300 pounds. Now the libs I repeated it to can call me a liar.
According to the police report, it appears that “Dorian Johnson” was an accomplice to the strong arm robbery of the store clerk and therefore could be charged with felony murder for the death of Mr. Brown.

The pictures are remarkable. It’s the same person.
My thoughts: What a contrast! Alive one minute - making a huge mistake... dead the next. Justifiably or not, dead is dead.
The contrast impresses me.
I’ve made mistakes in the past. How close was I to the second set of pictures? I don’t know.
I believe God protected me from my sin - over and over again - and He still does.
Whether it seems good to you or not: God loved “Big Mike” and did not want him to die without Christ. I don’t know where Mike is today... but it is clear that his sin led to his physical death. “You plant beans, you get beans.”
In every man (and woman) there is a great deal of potential but for Mike, that’s over.
I hope he is safe and secure now- for his sake.
