That is Joda Cain.
Welcome to Free Republic.
With a first post like this.... I think you’ll do well!
” But if they brought in Gibbs or perhaps Brenda Leigh he moght have cracked.”

God I miss Brenda Leigh-—can’t stand Gibbs though.
.
LOL
Well, maybe not.
.The confusion arose when a police chief during a press conference was "repeatedly" asked(?) "you just said that..." and the response usually was, "No. what I said was..." obviously trying to trip up the Chief.
I was watching the live telecast and as I recall the first answer to the question, "Did the officer know that there had just been a robbery? was "I don't know." Nobody knew. But the later established fact is that the robbery was broadcast to all police vehicles, and the officer was in his patrol car at the time. That suggests that yes, it is most probable that the officer in fact had heard the description of the robbery perp.
Of course at the time of the press conference exchange, no precise review of what happened when had been released. Nor has the result of the Officer's lengthy interviews post-incident. Those may still not be yet available.
Many officers have been murdered, and or seriously injured by felons after the officer makes what he thinks is a routine stop of either a traffic violator or a person on the street. The person being stopped believes that the officer is well aware of the crime that the person has just committed, and trying to avoid the police, (think robbery, murder), but the officer unknowingly is caught unaware and many times in a fight for his life when assaulted by that felon.
In Depth
Police protocol: No such thing as a routine traffic stop
Traffic stops and related incidents are the second biggest cause of police deaths

” The wicked flee when none pursue”
May have had something to do with it.....

Lol, and Snapple is owned by the KKK.
Now, if the clerk in that store is the owner, he's screwed.
Even if he has a sudden attack of total amnesia when they ask him to I.D. the body, there is no question in my mind that he has already had his life threatened and will continue to be threatened forever.
That's just the way the thug culture operates.
If the clerk was only a hire, there's the hope he can move to another town and perhaps be safe. No real assurance of permanent safety, though.
As for the MENSA club meetings on the Ferguson streets daily and nightly, shouting mindless inanities, I saw with my own eyes, the criminal crowd, and its CNN cheerleaders acting indignant at labeling the convenience store robbery a strongarm robbery because the thug didn't push the clerk hard enough- twice, and when he intimidated the clerk a second time by turning and walking up to and looming over him, the clerk should not have interpreted that as threat of bodily harm.
There's nothing funny about this incident, but I have to laugh every time I see the thug neighborhood and its CNN cheerleaders feeding them leading questions, trying to redefine criminal behavior.
