Everybody in the nation seems to love a race based crisis. They’ll drop everything else and run to the burning fire. At the outset, sure, everyone checks out the details. But now we know this is a “wag the dog” type event. We aren’t talking about illegal immigrants flooding across the border, ISIS, ObamaCare, participation rate, etc.
We’re all trying to figure out the forensics of an investigation in a cop/perp takedown in a neighborhood in St Louis.
And it’s energizing Obama’s base, and it’s keeping the important issues off the news, and it’s distracting the nation’s thoughts in the last 90 days before an election.
