The Real Villain of Ferguson
pjmedia.com ^ | 8/18/2014 | Roger L. Simon

The Great Society and similar policies screwed black people to the wall. It was racist to the core without knowing it. Nobody used the N-word. In fact, it was forbidden, unless you were Dr. Dre or somebody. But it did its job without the word and did it better for being in disguise. Those misbegotten kids running around Ferguson high on reefer and wasting their lives screaming at cops are the product of all this. Stop it already. No one has said this better than Jason Riley, author of Please Stop Helping Us. Listen to Jason if you want to end Fergusons.

“Nobody used the N-word.”

It’s said that LBJ did, as in “I’ll have those _______s voting Democrat for 150 years.”

Wrong. It screwed blacks to the Dem party, which was the point of it.

Ergo, it was designed to be racist from the start.

LBJ bragged about it.

The die was cast long before LBJ rose to power.

Bingo, bingo, bingo!!! The ‘great society’ is the most egregious racial manipulation since slavery. Look at its results that we are only beginning to reap. What does anyone expect when the ‘guvment’ rewards bad behavior and punishes good behavior??? Of course the liberals’ solution is mo money, mo money-it’s like they want this to happen-oh yeah forgot-they do.

And as LBJ said, they'd be voting Democratic for the next 100 years.

Victimhood taught from cradle to grave by parents, teachers, ministers, poets, and politicians...hammering away at the ‘poor’ has finally had it’s payday...a bitter culture of anarchists.

The ‘great society’ is what turned dignified blacks into dependent losers. I don’t believe Johnson did it on purpose...

No, Neither do I think LBJ did his "great hand out" on purpose any more than I believe Trent Lott repeated what Strom Thurmond said about "helping the poor too much would only ruin them....meaning, cripple them....which in effect it has!

Definitely. But the very idea that blacks were like children to be taken care of by the govt goes back a ways.

” I don’t believe Johnson did it on purpose...”

I’m sure it was done on purpose. But not necessarily by LBJ, himself.

People give Democrat Presidents too much credit. The programs they push are dreamed up and written by others. Remember that Democrat politics is machine politics. LBJ probably had his version of Valerie Jarrett and George Soros who pulled his puppet strings - but we didn’t have the internet back then with the information flow that exists today, to know who they were.

Johnson was a crude-but-clever dirty politician, who was only on JFK’s ticket to get some southern votes. Johnson was definitely in over his head as president, much like Zero.

I’m sure that whoever it was, behind the scenes, who invented the Great Society, knew exactly what he was doing.

You're right on every point. I agree someone knew the effects the 'Great Society' would have...
