The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

And Brown suffered a cranial blowout...I’d call that even.
While I believe the officer was injured, Gateway Pundit just yesterday had an article with a false headline, saying the gov’s office was “stormed.” It was NOT. Drudge had the link, then deleted it, probably because it was a lie.
I figure his first shots were off because in the excitement, he may have been jerking the trigger instead of drawing it back slowly. I’m sure he was shaking as well. I know I would have been.
OTOH, perhaps this explains that while the officer was aiming center-mass, that all the entry wounds on one side, most in the arm.
I’ve had that injury. It hurts like hell. The floor of your eye socket collapses and your eye partially drops into your sinus cavity. If it is feeling pressure surgery is necessary right away to save the eye from permanent damage.
It would be nice if there were a more reliable source than Gateway Pundit.

The gentle giant strong armed swisher sweets from a store. 2. defied a lawful order. 3. assaulted the officer giving said order 4. charged the officer and autopsies show all entry points from the front.

There were pictures posted of people trying to get into the Governors office but were blocked by security/police. So did they actually make it to the Governors office, no. Did they try, yes.
