Making a career for yourself as a fake Holocaust survivor is horrible enough. Marketing yourself as a fake Holocaust survivor who attacks Jews is even worse. But that’s what Hedy Epstein, a “Holocaust Survivor” who survived the Holocaust in the UK, has been doing.
But then Michael Brown stole the spotlight from Hedy Epstein‘s latest Gaza tantrum, so she headed to Ferguson to get herself arrested.

HuffPo mentioned ‘holocaust survivor arrested’ on its front page. Ha!
She sure is a liar as Front Page Magazine has proven. So much of a liar, that even on her own website she claims that as a child she lived in Nazi Germany until 1939.
That is a far cry from the real Hedy Epstein story that was uncovered by Front Page showing that she lived in England the entire time.

What are you trying to say? When do you thing the Holocaust started? It is commonly considered 1942-1945. She was in the UK from 1939 on.
I have no use for Epstein’s activism, but I think it goes too far to call her a “fake holocaust survivor.” She lived in Germany until 1939 (after kristallnacht, among many other atrocities), was rescued by the British-coordinated kindertransport, and lost the vast majority of her family to the Nazis. Seems tasteless to me to say that’s somehow not enough.

It is ‘commonly considered’ that the Holocaust started in 1942? Nonsense. The Warner Conference was in January 1942, but most consider the Holocaust to have ‘started’ well before that.
I was saying that Front Page Magazine investigated Hedi Epstein and uncovered the truth and shows that she lived in England thought the Nazi era.
The Holocaust began the moment Adolph Hitler opened his mouth and the German people shut theirs.

I suppose the Marx brothers & Al Jolson were Holocaust survivors too. They were alive, in the US, when Hitler was alive and the Holocaust was ongoing, by whatever definition you want.
Yes, it is nonsense to say that the Holocaust is not ‘commonly considered’ to have started until 1942.

If it is as it appears, that she never lived in Germany from the time of her birth, until the end of WWII, she is not a survivor of the Holocaust.
So you discount the experience of a German Jew, born in 1924 and living as a child user Nazi rule from 1933 until she was rescued from Germany in 1939? How are the Marx brothers (all of whom were born in the US, and did not spend a moment living under Nazi rule) at all relevant?
I think Epstein’s Jew-hating activism is repugnant. But I think it is dangerous to go around diminishing her experience under the Nazis. If anything, her experience as a survivor makes her subsequent work all that much MORE repugnant.
