What if a kid writes a story that involves a gun for his home schooling assignment? He would be arrested. Seriously, homeschooling is not the answer. Parents need to be down at the schools raising hell and electing intelligent people to the school boards.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if the teacher had done nothing at all and several days later he had brought a gun to school with tragic results.

Is there some statistical correlation between kids that write dino/gun stories and those that mass murder?? (I bet there is not) If not, you could ask the same question if his story were about a '77 Pinto. What if he came in and shot up the school the following week???
